In the days of her affliction and wandering Jerusalem remembers all the treasures that were hers in days of old. When her people fell into enemy hands, there was no one to help her. Her enemies looked at her and laughed at her destruction.

Jerusalem’s people are suffering and wandering. They remember all the treasures they used to have. But they fell into the hands of their enemies. And no one was there to help them. Their enemies looked at them. They laughed because Jerusalem had been destroyed.

Jerusalem remembers in the days of her affliction and wandering all the precious things that were hers from days of old. When her people fell into the hand of the foe, and there was none to help her, her foes gloated over her; they mocked at her downfall.

我想到神，就哀怨唉哼；我沉思默想，心灵就烦乱。（细拉）

现在多国的民集合起来，攻击你，说：‘愿锡安被蹂躏，愿我们亲眼看见锡安遭报应。’”

哪一个大国的人有神与他们这样亲近，像耶和华我们的神，在我们每次呼求他的时候，与我们亲近一样呢？又哪一个大国有这样公义的律例和典章，像我今日在你面前颁布的这一切律法呢？

她要追赶她那些爱人，却追不上；要寻找他们，却找不着。她就说：‘我要回去，回到前夫那里，因为从前比现在好得多了。’

因为耶和华你的神快要领你进入那美地；那地有河流，有泉，有源，水从谷中和山上流出来；那地有小麦、大麦、葡萄树、无花果树、石榴树；那地有橄榄树、油和蜜；你在那地必不缺乏食物，在那里你必一无所缺；那地的石头就是铁；从那里的山上，你可以挖出铜来。

他把自己的话向雅各颁布，把自己的律例和典章向以色列颁布。他从没有这样对待其他各国；他们都不知道他的典章。你们要赞美耶和华。

“耶和华以色列的神这样说：你们要对差派你们来求问我的犹大王这样说：‘看哪！那出来帮助你们的法老的军队，必回到他们的埃及本地去。

亚伯拉罕说：‘孩子，你应该回想你生前享过福，同样拉撒路受过苦，现在他在这里得安慰，你却要受苦了。

我们徒然等待帮助，等到双目失去视力；我们在瞭望台上期望一个不能拯救我们的国家来临。

有没有一位神尝试藉着试验、神迹、奇事、战争、大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，以及大而可畏的事，把一国的人民从别的国中领出来，像耶和华你们的神在埃及，在你们面前为你们所作的一切事呢？这是要显明给你看，使你知道，只有耶和华是神；除了他以外，再没有别的神。他从天上使你听见他的声音，为要教导你；又在地上使你看见他的大火，并且叫你听到他从火中所说的话。因为他爱你的列祖，所以才拣选了他们的（按照《马索拉文本》，“他们的”作“他的”﹔现参照其他抄本及古译本翻译）后裔，用大能亲自把你从埃及领出来，

所有过路的人，都拍掌嘲笑你；他们嗤笑耶路撒冷的居民，并摇头说：“被人称为最完美，为全地所喜悦的，就是这城吗？”你所有的仇敌都张开口攻击你，他们嗤笑你，又咬牙切齿，说：“我们吞灭它了！这真是我们期待的日子！我们等到了！亲眼看见了！”

“但愿我的景况像以前的岁月，像神保守我的日子。那时他的灯照在我的头上，我靠着他的光行过黑暗。但愿我仍然活在年轻力壮的日子，那时神在我的帐棚里与我亲密。全能者仍然与我同在，我的孩子都环绕我。我用油洗脚，磐石为我出油成河。我出到城门那里去，在广场上预备我的座位。年轻人看见我，就回避，年老的也起身站立。王子都停止说话，并且用手掩口。众领袖都不敢作声，他们的舌头紧贴上颚。耳朵听见我的，就称我有福。眼睛看见我的，就作证称赞我。因为我救了呼救的穷人，和无人帮助的孤儿。将要灭亡的，为我祝福；我使寡妇的心欢呼。我以公义作衣服穿上；我的公平好像外袍和冠冕。我作了瞎子的眼，瘸子的腿。我作过贫穷人的父亲，我查究过我素来不认识的人的案件。我打碎了不义的人的牙齿，使捕食的掉下来。那时我心里想：‘我必在家中安然去世，我必增添我的日子像沙尘那么多。我的根蔓延到水边，露水整夜沾在我的枝上。我的荣耀在身上常新，我的弓在我手上重新得力。大家都聆听我，等候我；静默无声地领受我的指导。我说了话以后，他们就不再说，我的言语像雨露一般滴在他们身上。他们等候我像等候雨水，又大大张嘴如切慕春雨。我向他们微笑，他们也不敢相信；他们珍惜我脸上的光。我为他们选择道路，又坐首位；我像君王住在军队中，又像个安慰悲伤的人。’”“但现在年纪比我小的人都笑我；我不容许他们的父亲与我羊群的犬只为伴。

他醒悟过来，说：‘我父亲有那么多雇工，又有丰富的食物，我却要在这里饿死吗？
