耶和華兮、請爾視之、所責者誰、婦之初娩、自食其子、祭司先知、見戮於聖所兮。

邑眾咨嗟、願舍欣羨之物、以求糈糧、庶堪果腹兮、郇民曰、今予受辱、望耶和華眷顧兮。

眷屬愛弛、親戚情疏、是皆主所使也。見棄於鄰里、不念於友朋。傭人侍女、視如陌路。我呼奴僕、下氣恬色、不見其應。妻子厭棄我、兄弟侮慢我、孺子藐視我、我方屹立、遭其譏訕。同心之友、厭棄我躬、眷愛之人、反來攻我、

郇民曰、我冀鄰邦、以手援予、引領徒勞、望眼欲穿兮。

耶和華曰、先知祭司、所行誕妄、在我殿宇、惡跡已彰、故其途幽暗、滑而難行、我驅逐之、使顛蹶趾、屆期降災。撒馬利亞之先知、託巴力之名振振有詞、欲使我民以色列族舛錯、維我洞見其愚。耶路撒冷之先知、更堪痛疾、行淫詭譎、俾作惡者流、厥志孔強、不悛厥行、予鑒察之、視若所多馬蛾摩拉之人無異。萬有之主耶和華曰耶路撒冷先知、導民行惡、殆遍斯土、我使之茹茶飲酖、

猶大人與、爾之眾邑、各事一上帝、其數相等、所作之像安在、盍使彼並起、拯救爾曹。

雖有良朋、棄爾弗顧、因爾眾愆尤屢蹈、故我加爾以重傷、罹爾以嚴酷。

以色列族之上帝耶和華云、猶大王既遣爾、諮諏於我、爾當告之曰、法老之軍旅、雖來輔翼、終歸埃及、迦勒底人必復至、攻陷斯邑、取而焚之。耶和華又曰、勿自欺云、迦勒底人將去、蓋彼無去志。

牧伯之手、高懸於上、長老之容、失其尊嚴兮。

今我頒詔、諭彼偽先知之事、彼未嘗奉我所遣、猶託我名而告民云、斯土必無鋒刃饑饉之虞、彼先知必以鋒刃饑饉殲滅之。凡從其言者、必飲刃受饑、陳尸於耶路撒冷逵衢、以及妻室子女、無人瘞埋、蓋我使之慘罹惡報。爾以我言播告於民、耶利米曰、斯民遭難孔艱、可為晝夜痛哭流涕也。往於田、所見無非殺戮、入於邑、觸目盡是餓殍、先知祭司、往來貿易、不以為意。

昔彼顯宦、皜皜無比、若雪之白、若乳之潔、色若珊瑚、體若青玉兮。今其容變黑、形消骨立、有若枯木、至彼市廛、無人識之兮。寧殞於鋒刃、不願死於饑饉、土產已絶、日漸衰微兮。

耶和華曾言、凡諸邦國、不肯服事巴比倫王、必以鋒刃、饑饉、瘟疫、使之淪喪今汝與民、何為自取死亡。惟彼先知、言爾不必服事巴比倫王、所言誕妄、爾勿聽從。耶和華未遣之、彼藉其名、所言詭譎、如爾信從、耶和華必驅爾、爰及先知與爾偕亡。
