郇民曰、我儕望人濟助、竟屬徒然、望眼欲穿、我俟鄰國救我、終不能救、

爾所作諸神安在、爾遭患難時、何不起而救爾、猶大歟、爾神之數、與爾邑之數相等、

昔愛爾者、俱已忘爾、無人詢問爾、爾之愆尤甚多、爾之罪惡加增、故我以敵之擊擊爾、責爾惟嚴、

主以色列之天主如是云、猶大王遣爾曹來、求問於我、爾曹當如是告之曰、法老之軍旅、出以助爾、必歸其地伊及、迦勒底人必復至攻擊斯邑、必取之、以火焚燬、主如是云、勿自欺曰、迦勒底人必離我而去、彼必不去、

以手懸侯伯、不尊老者之面、或作侯伯懸挂以手老者之面不尊
