昔總領天神彌額爾與魔鬼奪摩西屍體也、猶且不敢擅作威福、加以無謂之凌辱、僅曰：『願主責爾』而已。

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you.”

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels, did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”( This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Yet when Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil in an argument about Moses’s body, he did not dare utter a slanderous condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the Devil in a debate about Moses’ body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said,“ The Lord rebuke you!”

時戰於天、米加勒率厥使者與龍戰、龍亦率使者與米加勒戰、

耶和華告撒但曰、我耶和華必責爾撒但、我耶和華以耶路撒冷民為悅、故必責爾、斯人得救、若脫於火、

葬於摩押之谷、伯比耳相向之所、越至於今、其墓無有能知者。

明道之天使、較陷罪之使者、能力殊大、然尚不敢於主前加以詬誶、

經籍所載、信而有徵、我將示爾、助余者惟爾君米加勒而已。

斯時必有大難、自生民以來、越之於今、未之有也、大君米加勒必將崛興、扞衛爾民、凡名錄於册者、必蒙拯救。

巴西國君阻我二十一日、我為之羈留、厥後上君米加勒助我、

至上天使、大聲而呼、吹上帝角時、主由天降、前宗基督死者心先甦、

過者誚之、搖首曰、噫、爾毀殿、三日建之、

同懸之二犯、其一誚之曰、爾若基督、可救己及我儕、其二責之曰、爾同受罪、何不畏上帝乎、

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、曾言耶路撒冷必不陷於亞述王、勿為所誘、爾亦聞亞述前王、至於今、皆以翦滅列國是務、而爾獨獲救乎、我祖所滅之國、坷散、哈蘭、哩泄、所居提拉撒、埃田族、其上帝豈得救之乎、哈抹、亞八、西法瓦音、希拿、以瓦列王安在。希西家接使者所致之書、展讀既竟、則進耶和華殿、陳於其前、禱曰、居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華、既造天地、則在天下列國中、爾獨為上帝、

大闢出迓、告曰、如爾心懷平康、欲來助我、則我與爾和好。如欲欺我、付無辜於敵手、則望列祖之上帝、加以督責。

勿以惡報惡、詬而不反、更為祝嘏知爾見召、以得福祉、

臘沙基遂立、用猶大方言、大聲呼曰、亞述大王之言、爾其聽之、勿為希西家所誘、彼不能拯爾、希西家使爾恃耶和華、望其拯爾、及爾城垣、不付於亞述王手、爾勿聽焉、蓋亞述王曰、爾當與我修和、歸誠於我、厥後可各食其葡萄、及無花果、各飲己井之水、迨我遷國、往彼異方、與爾故土相同、有穀有酒、有餅、葡萄園、具備、希西家言、爾必見拯於耶和華、爾勿聽焉、四方民所事之上帝、豈得救其國、脫於亞述王手乎、哈末亞八之上帝安在、西法瓦音之上帝安在、豈得救撒馬利亞邑於我手乎、列國諸上帝中、孰一救其國於我手、是則耶和華、焉能救耶路撒冷於我手乎、民聞是言、不措一詞、蓋王有命、勿應之。

曰、希西家云、今日我遘患難、有譴責我、欺蔑我者、若婦當產而無力、亞述王遣僕臘沙基、侮永生之上帝、爾之上帝耶和華、或聞其言、而加以譴責、故請爾為遺民、禱告於上、

勿詛士師、勿詈民長。
