Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the Lord. And what is Aaron that you complain against him?”

Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts?Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture,“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well;but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

But when they saw it, they all complained, saying,“ He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.”

When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them,“ Does this offend you?

For You have hidden their heart from understanding; Therefore You will not exalt them.He who speaks flattery to his friends, Even the eyes of his children will fail.

Let me not, I pray, show partiality to anyone; Nor let me flatter any man.
