Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages.He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people:“ Gather to me this consecrated people, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” (niv)

and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. (niv)

May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones. (niv)

“ When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. (niv)

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death:“ He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (niv)

I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God;I myself will see him with my own eyes— I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me! (niv)

“ Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and“ every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth“ will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen. (niv)

You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him. (niv)

“ As I looked,“ thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch. (niv)

When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years.Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.
