as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the Israelites. He built it according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses— an altar of uncut stones, on which no iron tool had been used. On it they offered to the Lord burnt offerings and sacrificed fellowship offerings.

Moses, the servant of the Lord, had commanded the Israelites to do that. Joshua built the altar according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses. Joshua built the altar out of stones that iron tools had never touched. Then the people offered on the altar burnt offerings to the Lord. They also sacrificed friendship offerings on it.

just as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the people of Israel, as it is written in the Book of the Law of Moses,“ an altar of uncut stones, upon which no man has wielded an iron tool.” And they offered on it burnt offerings to the Lord and sacrificed peace offerings.

你要为我筑一座土坛，在上面献牛羊为燔祭和平安祭。凡在我叫你记念我名的地方，我必到那里赐福给你。你若为我筑一座石坛，不可用凿过的石头，因为你在石头上动了工具，就使坛污秽了。

你在那里要为耶和华—你的神筑一座石坛，却不可动用铁器在石头上。要用没有凿过的石头筑耶和华—你神的坛，在坛上将燔祭献给耶和华—你的神，又要献平安祭，在那里吃，在耶和华—你的神面前欢乐。

以利亚按照雅各子孙支派的数目，取了十二块石头；耶和华的话曾临到雅各，说：“你的名要叫以色列。”以利亚用这些石头为耶和华的名筑一座坛，在坛的四围挖沟，可容纳二细亚谷种。

把燔祭拿走，再按着父家的班次分给众百姓，照摩西书上所写的献给耶和华；献牛也是这样。

随后，约书亚将律法上祝福和诅咒的话，照着律法书上一切所写的，宣读一遍。摩西所吩咐的一切话，约书亚在以色列全会众和妇女、孩童，以及住在他们中间的外人面前，没有一句不宣读的。

在那日，百姓听到人朗读摩西的律法书，发现书上写着，亚扪人和摩押人永不可入神的会；

希勒家大祭司对沙番书记说：“我在耶和华殿里发现了律法书。”希勒家把书递给沙番，沙番就读了。

他们派祭司按着班次，利未人也按着班次在耶路撒冷事奉神，正如摩西律法书上所写的。

却没有处死杀王凶手的儿子，正如摩西律法书上耶和华所吩咐的说：“不可因子杀父，也不可因父杀子，各人要为自己的罪而死。”

他差派以色列的年轻人去献燔祭，又宰牛献给耶和华为平安祭。

若撒但赶出撒但，就是自相纷争，他的国怎能立得住呢？

却没有处死他们的儿子，这是照摩西律法书上耶和华所吩咐的说：“不可因子杀父，也不可因父杀子，各人要为自己的罪而死。”

摩西的岳父叶特罗把燔祭和祭物献给神。亚伦和以色列的众长老都来了，与摩西的岳父在神面前吃饭。

这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。
