便雅憫人也出來迎敵，就被引誘出城外。在田間的兩條路上，一條通往伯特利，一條通往基比亞，他們像前兩次一樣，動手殺了約三十個以色列人。

便雅憫人看到自己戰敗了。以色列人因為信任在基比亞前所設的伏兵，就在便雅憫人面前假裝撤退。伏兵迅速闖進基比亞；他們繼續前進，用刀殺死全城的人。以色列人預先與伏兵約定在城內放火，以上騰的煙為信號。以色列人從陣上撤退，便雅憫人動手殺死以色列人，約有三十個，就說：「他們仍像以前一樣敗在我們面前。」

我與我所帶領的眾士兵要向城前進。城裏的人像上一次那樣出來迎擊我們的時候，我們就在他們面前逃跑。他們會出來追趕我們，直到我們引誘他們遠離那城。因為他們必說：『這些人像上次那樣在我們面前逃跑。』所以我們要在他們面前逃跑。

他們本是鬼魔的靈，施行奇事，到普天下眾王那裏去，召集他們在全能者神的大日子作戰。

耶和華已將自己顯明，他已施行審判；惡人被自己手所做的纏住了。（細拉）

說：『我要上那無牆的鄉村之地，到那安靜的居民那裏，他們無牆，無門、無閂，安然居住。我去那裏要搶財為擄物，奪貨為掠物，反手攻擊那從前荒涼、現在有人居住之地，又攻擊那從列國招聚出來、得了牲畜財貨、住在地的高處的百姓。』示巴人、底但人、他施的商人和他們的少壯獅子都對你說：『你來是要搶財為擄物嗎？你聚集軍隊是要奪貨為掠物，奪取金銀，擄去牲畜、財貨，搶奪許多財寶為擄物嗎？』「人子啊，你要因此說預言，對歌革說，主耶和華如此說：我的子民以色列安然居住時，你是知道的。你從你的地方，從北方極遠處率領許多民族前來，他們都騎着馬，是一隊強而多的軍兵。歌革啊，你必上來攻擊我的子民以色列，如密雲遮蓋地面。末後的日子，我必領你來攻擊我的地，我藉你在列國眼前顯為聖的時候，他們就要認識我。主耶和華如此說：我在古時藉我僕人以色列眾先知所說的，不就是你嗎？他們在那些日子，多年說預言，我必領你來攻擊以色列人。」「主耶和華說：歌革上來攻擊以色列地的時候，我的怒氣要從鼻孔裏發出。我在妒忌和如火的烈怒中說：那日在以色列地必有大震動，甚至海中的魚、天空的鳥、野地的獸，和地上爬的各種爬行動物，並地面上的眾人，因見我的面就都震動；山嶺崩裂，陡巖塌陷，一切的牆都必坍塌。我必令刀劍在我的眾山攻擊歌革；人要用刀劍殺害弟兄。這是主耶和華說的。我要用瘟疫和血懲罰他。我也必降暴雨、大冰雹、火及硫磺在他和他的軍隊，並跟隨他的許多民族身上。

我又看見那獸和地上的君王，和他們的軍隊都聚集，要與白馬騎士和他的軍隊作戰。那獸被擒拿了；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑了接受獸的印記和拜獸像的人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活生生地被扔進燒着硫磺的火湖裏，其餘的人被白馬騎士口中吐出來的劍殺了；所有的飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。
