便雅悯人也出来迎敌，就被引诱出城外。在田间的两条路上，一条通往伯特利，一条通往基比亚，他们像前两次一样，动手杀了约三十个以色列人。

便雅悯人看到自己战败了。以色列人因为信任在基比亚前所设的伏兵，就在便雅悯人面前假装撤退。伏兵迅速闯进基比亚；他们继续前进，用刀杀死全城的人。以色列人预先与伏兵约定在城内放火，以上腾的烟为信号。以色列人从阵上撤退，便雅悯人动手杀死以色列人，约有三十个，就说：“他们仍像以前一样败在我们面前。”

我与我所带领的众士兵要向城前进。城里的人像上一次那样出来迎击我们的时候，我们就在他们面前逃跑。他们会出来追赶我们，直到我们引诱他们远离那城。因为他们必说：‘这些人像上次那样在我们面前逃跑。’所以我们要在他们面前逃跑。

他们本是鬼魔的灵，施行奇事，到普天下众王那里去，召集他们在全能者神的大日子作战。

耶和华已将自己显明，他已施行审判；恶人被自己手所做的缠住了。（细拉）

说：‘我要上那无墙的乡村之地，到那安静的居民那里，他们无墙，无门、无闩，安然居住。我去那里要抢财为掳物，夺货为掠物，反手攻击那从前荒凉、现在有人居住之地，又攻击那从列国招聚出来、得了牲畜财货、住在地的高处的百姓。’示巴人、底但人、他施的商人和他们的少壮狮子都对你说：‘你来是要抢财为掳物吗？你聚集军队是要夺货为掠物，夺取金银，掳去牲畜、财货，抢夺许多财宝为掳物吗？’“人子啊，你要因此说预言，对歌革说，主耶和华如此说：我的子民以色列安然居住时，你是知道的。你从你的地方，从北方极远处率领许多民族前来，他们都骑着马，是一队强而多的军兵。歌革啊，你必上来攻击我的子民以色列，如密云遮盖地面。末后的日子，我必领你来攻击我的地，我藉你在列国眼前显为圣的时候，他们就要认识我。主耶和华如此说：我在古时藉我仆人以色列众先知所说的，不就是你吗？他们在那些日子，多年说预言，我必领你来攻击以色列人。”“主耶和华说：歌革上来攻击以色列地的时候，我的怒气要从鼻孔里发出。我在妒忌和如火的烈怒中说：那日在以色列地必有大震动，甚至海中的鱼、天空的鸟、野地的兽，和地上爬的各种爬行动物，并地面上的众人，因见我的面就都震动；山岭崩裂，陡岩塌陷，一切的墙都必坍塌。我必令刀剑在我的众山攻击歌革；人要用刀剑杀害弟兄。这是主耶和华说的。我要用瘟疫和血惩罚他。我也必降暴雨、大冰雹、火及硫磺在他和他的军队，并跟随他的许多民族身上。

我又看见那兽和地上的君王，和他们的军队都聚集，要与白马骑士和他的军队作战。那兽被擒拿了；那在兽面前曾行奇事、迷惑了接受兽的印记和拜兽像的人的假先知，也与兽同被擒拿。他们两个就活生生地被扔进烧着硫磺的火湖里，其余的人被白马骑士口中吐出来的剑杀了；所有的飞鸟都吃饱了他们的肉。
