在約但河西邊的亞摩利人那些王、和靠海的迦南人那些王、聽見永恆主使約但河的水從以色列人面前乾了、等着我們過河，他們就因以色列人的緣故而膽戰心驚，不再有勇氣了。

約但西亞摩利列王、海濱迦南列王、聞耶和華使約但水涸於以色列人前、以待其濟、則為之心怯而氣餒、○

Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted in fear and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites.

They weren’t brave enough to face the Israelites anymore.

As soon as all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan for the people of Israel until they had crossed over, their hearts melted and there was no longer any spirit in them because of the people of Israel.

When all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings who lived along the Mediterranean coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan River so the people of Israel could cross, they lost heart and were paralyzed with fear because of them.

When all the Amorite kings across the Jordan to the west and all the Canaanite kings near the sea heard how the LORD had dried up the water of the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, they lost heart and their courage failed because of the Israelites.

Now it came about when all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard how the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the sons of Israel until they had crossed, that their hearts melted, and there was no spirit in them any longer because of the sons of Israel.

So it was, when all the kings of the Amorites who were on the west side of the Jordan, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel until we had crossed over, that their heart melted; and there was no spirit in them any longer because of the children of Israel.

And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, that were beyond the Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, that were by the sea, heard how that Jehovah had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

When all the Amorite kings across the Jordan to the west and all the Canaanite kings near the sea heard how the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, they lost heart and their courage failed because of the Israelites.

And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which[ were] on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which[ were] by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

When all the Amorite kings on the west side of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the seacoast heard how the LORD had dried up the water of the Jordan before the Israelites while they crossed, they lost their courage and could not even breathe for fear of the Israelites.

When all the kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, who were by the sea, heard how Yahweh had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel until we had crossed over, their heart melted, and there was no more spirit in them, because of the children of Israel.

亚玛力人住在尼革夫；赫人、耶布斯人和亚摩利人住在山区；迦南人住在沿海一带和约旦河旁。”

席上的食物，坐着的群臣，侍立的仆人，他们的服装，和他的司酒长，以及他在耶和华殿里所献的燔祭，就诧异得神不守舍。

我要派瘟疫在你的前面，把希未人、迦南人、赫人从你面前赶出去。

就是亚摩利王西宏、巴珊王噩，和迦南一切的国度，

你要说，主耶和华对耶路撒冷如此说：你的根源，你的出身，是在迦南地；你的父亲是亚摩利人，母亲是赫人。

迦萨必遭遗弃，亚实基伦必然荒凉；亚实突人必在正午被赶出，以革伦也要连根拔除。祸哉，住沿海之地的基利提人！迦南、非利士人之地啊，耶和华的话攻击你们：我必毁灭你，以致无人居住。沿海之地要变为草场，牧人的住处和羊群的圈。

这些王是：耶利哥王一人，靠近伯特利的艾城王一人，耶路撒冷王一人，希伯仑王一人，耶末王一人，拉吉王一人，伊矶伦王一人，基色王一人，底璧王一人，基德王一人，何珥玛王一人，亚拉得王一人，立拿王一人，亚杜兰王一人，玛基大王一人，伯特利王一人，他普亚王一人，希弗王一人，亚弗王一人，拉沙仑王一人，玛顿王一人，夏琐王一人，伸仑‧米仑王一人，押煞王一人，他纳王一人，米吉多王一人，基低斯王一人，靠近迦密的约念王一人，多珥山冈的多珥王一人，吉甲的戈印王一人，得撒王一人，共三十一个王。

看哪，诸王会合，一同经过。他们见了这城就惊奇丧胆，急忙逃跑。战兢在那里抓住他们，他们好像临产的妇人一样阵痛。

因怕她的痛苦，就远远地站着，说：“祸哉，祸哉，这大城！坚固的巴比伦城啊！一时之间，你的审判要来到了。”

“我从他们面前除灭亚摩利人；他虽高大如香柏树，强壮如橡树，我却上灭其果，下绝其根。

大卫王召了基遍人来，跟他们说话。基遍人不是以色列人，而是亚摩利人中所剩下的人。以色列人曾向他们起誓，扫罗却为以色列人和犹大人大发热心，追杀他们，为了要消灭他们。

耶和华把他们交给在夏琐作王的迦南王耶宾手中；他的将军是西西拉，住在夏罗设‧哈歌印。

到了早晨，拿八酒醒了，他的妻子把这些事都告诉他，他就发心脏病快死了，僵如石头。

就变了脸色，心意惊惶，腰骨好像脱节，双膝彼此相碰，

万民听见就战抖；疼痛抓住非利士的居民。那时，以东的族长惊惶，摩押的英雄被战兢抓住，迦南所有的居民都融化。

耶和华—以色列的上帝如今从他百姓以色列面前赶出亚摩利人，你竟要占领它吗？

约书亚死后，以色列人求问耶和华说：“我们中间谁当首先上去攻打迦南人，与他们争战呢？”

迦南生了长子西顿，又生赫和耶布斯人、亚摩利人、革迦撒人、希未人、亚基人、西尼人、亚瓦底人、洗玛利人、哈马人，后来迦南的家族散开了。迦南的疆界是从西顿到基拉耳，直到迦萨，又到所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁，直到拉沙。

若你们认为事奉耶和华不好，今日就可以选择所要事奉的：是你们列祖在大河那边所事奉的神明，或是你们所住这地亚摩利人的神明呢？至于我和我家，我们必定事奉耶和华。”

若有人对你说：‘你为什么叹息呢？’你就说：‘因为有风声传来，人心惶惶，双手发软，精神衰败，膝弱如水。看哪，它临近了，一定会发生。’这是主耶和华说的。”

那山区也要归你，虽然是树林，你可以去开垦，边缘之地也必归你。迦南人纵然强盛，有铁的战车，你也能把他们赶出去。”

这些事完成以后，众领袖来接近我，说：“以色列百姓、祭司和利未人没有弃绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人和亚摩利人等列邦民族所行可憎的事。

你们要哀号，因为耶和华的日子临近了！这日来到，好像毁灭从全能者来到。因此，人的手都变软弱，人的心都必惶惶。他们必惊恐，悲痛和愁苦将他们抓住。他们阵痛，好像临产的妇人一样，彼此惊奇对看，脸如火焰。

在那日，耶和华与亚伯兰立约，说：“我已赐给你的后裔这一片地，从埃及河直到大河，幼发拉底河，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人的地。”

从前我用刀用弓从亚摩利人手下夺取的那一份，我要把它赐给你，使你比你的兄弟多得一份。”

亚伯兰经过那地，直到示剑地方，摩利橡树那里；当时迦南人住在那地。

留下的有非利士的五个领袖，所有的迦南人，西顿人，以及从巴力‧黑门山到哈马口，住黎巴嫩山的希未人。

只是玛拿西的子孙不能赶出这些城镇的居民，迦南人仍坚持住在那地。
