The idea seemed good to me; so I selected twelve of you, one man from each tribe.

And appoint one leader from each tribe to help assign the land.

One man from each tribe, each of them the head of his family, is to help you.These are the names of the men who are to assist you: from Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;from Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;from Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;from Issachar, Nethanel son of Zuar;from Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;from the sons of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud; from Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;from Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;from Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;from Asher, Pagiel son of Okran;from Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel;from Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.”

Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon( who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions:“ Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans.
