你要吩咐擡約櫃的祭司說：『你們到了約旦河的水邊上，就要在約旦河水裏站住。』」

Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant:‘ When you reach the edge of the Jordan’s waters, go and stand in the river.’”

Speak to the priests who carry the ark of the covenant. Tell them,‘ When you reach the edge of the Jordan River, go into the water and stand there.’ ”

And as for you, command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant,‘ When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’”

Give this command to the priests who carry the Ark of the Covenant:‘ When you reach the banks of the Jordan River, take a few steps into the river and stop there.’”

Command the priests carrying the ark of the covenant: When you reach the edge of the water, stand in the Jordan.”

So you shall command the priests who are carrying the ark of the covenant, saying,‘ When you come to the edge of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’ ”

諭民曰、爾見利未人祭司舁爾上帝耶和華之約匱、則離爾所、從諸其後、

舁耶和華約匱之祭司、穩立燥土、在約但河中、待以色列族盡由陸地、而過約但、

摩西曰、毋懼、可立而觀耶和華今日為爾所施之拯救、蓋是日所見之埃及人、後必不復見也、

希西家命獻燔祭於壇、始獻燔祭、同時而詠頌美耶和華之歌、以角與以色列王大衛之樂器和之、

上帝亦感猶大眾、使其一心、遵王與牧伯循耶和華言所命、○

大衛召祭司撒督、亞比亞他、與利未人烏列、亞帥雅、約珥、示瑪雅、以列、亞米拿達、諭之曰、爾曹為利未族長、當與昆弟自潔、致可舁以色列上帝耶和華之匱、至我所備之所、

召祭司利未人至、集於東場、謂之曰、利未人歟、其聽我言、今當自潔、且潔爾列祖之上帝耶和華室、由聖所出其污穢、我列祖干罪、行我上帝耶和華所惡、而離棄之、轉背耶和華之居所、閉其廊門、熄其燈、不在聖所焚香、獻燔祭於以色列之上帝、故耶和華之怒、及於猶大與耶路撒冷、使之飄搖、令人驚駭嗤笑、如爾目擊、因之我列祖仆於刃、我妻孥為俘囚、今我有意與以色列之上帝耶和華立約、俾其烈怒轉離我儕、我子歟、今勿懈怠、蓋耶和華簡爾侍立其前、為其執事、供役焚香、○

我命利未人潔己而至、監守邑門、使安息日為聖、我上帝歟、尚其垂念我、依爾鴻慈矜憫我、○

利未人之族長、乃哈沙比雅、示利比、甲篾子耶書亞、與相向而立之同宗、班列相對、頌讚稱謝、循上帝僕大衛所命、瑪他尼、八布迦、俄巴底亞、米書蘭、達們、亞谷、咸為閽人、守門於庫、以上所載、俱在約撒達孫、耶書亞子約雅金、方伯尼希米、文士祭司以斯拉時、○耶路撒冷邑垣告成、遂覓散處之利未人、招至耶路撒冷、欣然稱謝、謳歌擊鈸、鳴琴鼓瑟、而行奉獻之禮、謳歌者、自耶路撒冷畿甸、與尼陀法人之鄉里、

希西家以所積之堆、詢祭司與利未人、撒督家祭司長亞撒利雅對曰、自民始獻禮物、入耶和華室、我儕恆得足食、多有盈餘、蓋耶和華錫嘏其民、所餘即此積也、

並遣利未人示瑪雅、尼探雅、西巴第雅、亞撒黑、示米拉末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多比雅、駝巴多尼雅、又有祭司以利沙瑪、約蘭偕之、眾乃攜耶和華律書、巡行猶大諸邑訓民、

祭司長以利亞實孫、耶何耶大子一人、為和倫人參巴拉之壻、我屏之於我前、

仰望耶和華之拯救、而靜俟之、斯為美兮、

希西家王與牧伯命利未人、用大衛與先見亞薩之詞、頌美耶和華、眾乃欣然頌美、俯首而拜、

集其昆弟自潔、遵王循耶和華言所命、入潔耶和華室、

王立祭司、以任厥職、勉其供耶和華室之役事、諭誨以色列眾之利未人、即區別為聖歸於耶和華者、曰、當以聖匱、置於以色列王、大衛子所羅門所建之室、不復肩負、宜奉事爾之上帝耶和華、服事其民以色列、亦當自備、按爾宗族、循爾班列、遵以色列王大衛、及其子所羅門所書者、立於聖所、循爾昆弟宗族之班列、各班當有利未人、宰逾越節羔、自潔、為爾昆弟備之、遵耶和華藉摩西所諭之言、
