If you forsake the Lord and serve foreign gods, he will turn and bring disaster on you and make an end of you, after he has been good to you.”

Suppose you desert the Lord. Suppose you serve the gods that people in other lands serve. If you do, he will turn against you. He will bring trouble on you. He will destroy you, even though he has been good to you.”

因为我们知道了真理以后，若仍然故意犯罪，就再没有赎罪祭了，只有可怕的审判和烧灭敌对者的烈火等候我们。

“我儿所罗门啊，你要认识你父亲的上帝耶和华，诚心乐意地事奉祂，因为祂洞察人心，知道人一切的心思意念。倘若你寻求祂，祂必让你寻见；倘若你背弃祂，祂必永远丢弃你。

因此，上帝转脸不顾他们，任由他们祭拜日月星辰，正如先知书的记载，“‘以色列家啊，在旷野的四十年间，你们向我献过祭物和供品吗？

他们却叛逆，使祂的圣灵忧伤。于是，祂与他们为敌，亲自攻击他们。

耶和华啊，你是以色列的盼望。背弃你的人必蒙羞，背叛你的人必像写在尘土上的名字一样消逝，因为他们背弃了耶和华——活水的源泉。

他便出来迎接亚撒，对他说：“亚撒啊，所有的犹大人和便雅悯人啊，请听我说！你们若顺从耶和华，祂必与你们同在。你们若寻求祂，祂必让你们寻见。你们若背弃祂，祂必离弃你们。

我羞于求王派步兵和骑兵沿途帮助我们御敌，因为我们曾经告诉王：“我们的上帝会施恩帮助寻求祂的人，但会向背弃祂的人发烈怒。”

义人若弃善行恶，与恶人同流合污，这人岂能活着？他从前的义行不会被记念，他必因自己的背信和罪恶而灭亡。

但叛逆之辈和犯罪之徒必遭毁灭，背弃耶和华的人必灭亡。

但至于你们这些背弃我、忘记我的圣山、摆宴供奉幸运之神、调酒祭奠命运之神的人，我要使你们注定被杀，丧身刀下。因为我呼唤你们，你们不回应；我讲话，你们不聆听。你们做我视为恶的事，专行令我不悦的事。”

如果你们悖逆，跟你们当中剩下的异族人联合，通婚往来，毫无疑问，你们的上帝耶和华必不再为你们赶走他们。相反，他们还要成为设在你们当中的圈套和陷阱，你们的肉中刺、眼中钉，直到你们在你们的上帝耶和华所赐给你们的这块美好的土地上灭亡。“我快要走完人世的路程了。你们深知你们的上帝耶和华赐给你们的一切美好应许没有一句落空，都已经应验了。正如你们的上帝耶和华已成就祂应许给你们的一切福气，如果你们违背祂，祂必照样降各样灾祸给你们，直到把你们从祂所赐的这美好土地上毁灭。

属我的义人必靠信心而活。他若畏缩退后，我必不喜悦他。”
