But the sons of Israel heard a report:“ Behold, the sons of Reuben, the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar at the frontier of the land of Canaan, in the region of the Jordan, on the side belonging to the sons of Israel.”

以色列人聞流便人、迦得人、及瑪拿西半支派人、在附近約但之平原、對迦南地、對以色列人、或作在迦南地邊疆在歸以色列人之河濱建一祭臺、

And when the Israelites heard that they had built the altar on the border of Canaan at Geliloth near the Jordan on the Israelite side,

The rest of the Israelites heard that the eastern tribes had built the altar. They heard that it had been built on the border of Canaan at Geliloth. It was near the Jordan River on the west side.

And the people of Israel heard it said,“ Behold, the people of Reuben and the people of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built the altar at the frontier of the land of Canaan, in the region about the Jordan, on the side that belongs to the people of Israel.”

The rest of Israel heard that the people of Reuben, Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh had built an altar at Geliloth at the edge of the land of Canaan, on the west side of the Jordan River.

Then the Israelites heard it said,“ Look, the Reubenites, Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh have built an altar on the frontier of the land of Canaan at the region of the Jordan, on the Israelite side.”

Now the children of Israel heard someone say,“ Behold, the children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh have built an altar on the frontier of the land of Canaan, in the region of the Jordan— on the children of Israel’s side.”

And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half- tribe of Manasseh have built an altar in the forefront of the land of Canaan, in the region about the Jordan, on the side that pertaineth to the children of Israel.

Then the Israelites heard it said,“ Look, the Reubenites, Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh have built an altar on the frontier of the land of Canaan at the region of the Jordan, on the Israelite side.”

And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel.

The Israelites received this report:“ Look, the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar at the entrance to the land of Canaan, at Geliloth near the Jordan on the Israelite side.”

The children of Israel heard this,“ Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half- tribe of Manasseh have built an altar along the border of the land of Canaan, in the region around the Jordan, on the side that belongs to the children of Israel.”

“ If you hear in one of your cities, which the Lord your God is giving you to live in, anyone saying thatsome worthless men have gone out from among you and have seduced the inhabitants of their city, saying,‘ Let’s go and serve other gods’( whom you have not known),then you shall investigate, search out, and inquire thoroughly. And if it is true and the matter is certain that this abomination has been committed among you,

These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing people.

and she* saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying.

So the men pursued them on the road to the Jordan, to the crossing places; and as soon as those who were pursuing them had gone out, they shut the gate.

“ Then you shall say to them,‘ Anyone from the house of Israel, or from the strangers who reside among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,and does not bring it to the doorway of the tent of meeting to offer it to the Lord, that person also shall be cut off from his people.

So when the people set out from their tents to cross the Jordan, with the priests carrying the ark of the covenant before the people,and when those who were carrying the ark came up to the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark stepped down into the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the days of harvest),then the waters which were flowing down from above stood and rose up in one heap, a great distance away at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those which were flowing down toward the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. So the people crossed opposite Jericho.

Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene* came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and* saw the stone already removed from the tomb.

But you shall seek the Lord at the place which the Lord your God will choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there for His dwelling, and you shall come there.You shall bring there your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the contribution of your hand, your vowed offerings, your voluntary offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock.There you and your households shall eat before the Lord your God, and rejoice in all your undertakings in which the Lord your God has blessed you.

And the Gileadites took control of the crossing places of the Jordan opposite Ephraim. And it happened whenever any of the survivors of Ephraim said,“ Let me cross over,” that the men of Gilead would say to him,“ Are you an Ephraimite?” If he said,“ No,”
