那些人起程前去的时候，约书亚吩咐那些前去绘画那地的人说：“你们要去，走遍那地，绘画地形，然后回到我这里来，我要在示罗这里，在耶和华面前，为你们抽签。”

将来你们要抽签分这地为业，归给你们和你们中间的外族人。他们在你们中间生儿育女。你们应该看他们如同本地生的以色列人，他们要在以色列支派中与你们一起抽签分地为业。

开他们的眼睛，使他们从黑暗中归向光明，从撒但的权下归向神，使他们的罪恶得到赦免，并且在那些因信我而成圣的人中同得基业。’
