抽签可以平息争端，调解强者间的纠纷。

耶和华啊，你是我的一切，你赐我一切福分，你掌管我的一切。你赐我佳美之地，我的产业何其美！

上帝啊，你已经听见我的誓言，把你赐给敬畏你名之人的产业赐给我。

那些画地图的人启程出发的时候，约书亚嘱咐他们说：“你们要走遍那里，绘制地图，然后回来禀告我，我要在示罗，在耶和华面前为你们抽签。”

用抽签的方法来分产业，也要分给在你们中间居住、生儿育女的外族人。你们要视他们如同以色列人，要让他们与你们同分产业。

去开他们的眼睛，使他们弃暗投明，脱离魔鬼的权势，归向上帝，好叫他们的罪得到赦免，与所有因信我而圣洁的人同得基业。’

欢喜地感谢天父，因祂使你们有资格跟众圣徒在光明中同享基业。

以上是祭司以利亚撒、嫩的儿子约书亚和以色列各支派的首领，在示罗的会幕门口，在耶和华面前抽签所分配的土地。至此，他们把地分完了。
