Then it curved westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, ran along the northern slope of Mount Jearim( that is, Kesalon), continued down to Beth Shemesh and crossed to Timnah.

And the boundary circles west of Baalah to Mount Seir, passes along to the northern shoulder of Mount Jearim( that is, Chesalon), and goes down to Beth-shemesh and passes along by Timnah.

該隱、基比亞、亭納：十座城，還有屬這些城的村莊。

牛在路上、按到伯示麥的路向、在一條大路上直直地走，一面走一面叫，不偏於右，也不偏於左；非利士人的霸主們在後面跟着走、直到伯示麥的境界。伯示麥人正在山谷中收割麥子；他們一舉目，就看見約櫃，並且歡歡喜喜地觀看着。車到了伯示麥人約書亞的田間，就在那裏站住；在那裏有一塊大石頭；他們就把車木頭劈開，將兩隻母牛做燔祭獻上與永恆主。利未人把永恆主的櫃和附帶的匣子、裏面裝金器的、拿下來，放在大石頭上；那一天伯示麥人獻上燔祭，又宰獻了別的祭給永恆主。非利士人的五個霸主看見，就在那一天回以革倫去了。非利士人所還給永恆主做賠罪禮物的金鼠疫疱、就是以下這些：亞實突有一個，迦薩有一個，亞實基倫有一個，迦特有一個，以革倫有一個；還有金老鼠、是照那屬五霸主的、非利士人眾城市的數目，無論是有堡壘的城或是鄉下人的小村子、以及那大石頭，就是他們將永恆主的櫃安放在那上頭的；直到今日、那石頭還在伯示麥人約書亞的田間。但是耶哥尼雅的兒子們看見永恆主的櫃時候不和伯示麥人一同歡樂，永恆主就擊殺了他們七十個人；因為永恆主大大擊殺了眾民，眾民就哀悼。伯示麥人說：『在永恆主這神聖的上帝面前、誰能站立得住呢？我們要把他從我們這裏送上哪裏去呢？』於是打發使者去見基列耶琳的居民，說：『非利士人將永恆主的櫃送回來了；你們下來，將櫃接上你們那裏去吧。』
