So Joshua took this entire land: the hill country, all the Negev, the whole region of Goshen, the western foothills, the Arabah and the mountains of Israel with their foothills,

So Joshua captured the whole land. He took over the central hill country and the whole Negev Desert. He took over the whole area of Goshen. He took over the western hills. He took over the Arabah Valley. He took over the mountains of Israel and the hills around them.

So Joshua took all that land, the hill country and all the Negeb and all the land of Goshen and the lowland and the Arabah and the hill country of Israel and its lowland

So Joshua conquered the entire region— the hill country, the entire Negev, the whole area around the town of Goshen, the western foothills, the Jordan Valley, the mountains of Israel, and the Galilean foothills.

So Joshua took all this land— the hill country, all the Negev, all the land of Goshen, the foothills, the Arabah, and the hill country of Israel with its foothills—

約書亞從加低斯‧巴尼亞攻擊到迦薩，又攻擊歌珊全地，直到基遍。

就是赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的山地、高原亞拉巴、山坡、曠野，和南地。

當時約書亞來到，將住山地、希伯崙、底璧、亞拿伯、猶大山地、以色列山地所有的亞衲族人剪除了。約書亞將他們和他們的城邑盡都毀滅。

「你吩咐以色列人說：你們到了迦南地，就是歸你們為業的迦南四境之地，南角要從尋的曠野，貼着以東的邊界；南界要從鹽海東頭起，繞到亞克拉濱坡的南邊，接連到尋，直通到加低斯‧巴尼亞的南邊，又通到哈薩‧亞達，接連到押們，從押們轉到埃及小河，直通到海為止。「西邊要以大海為界；這就是你們的西界。「北界要從大海起，劃到何珥山，從何珥山劃到哈馬口，通到西達達，又通到西斐崙，直到哈薩‧以難。這要作你們的北界。「你們要從哈薩‧以難劃到示番為東界。這界要從示番下到亞延東邊的利比拉，又要達到基尼烈湖的東邊。這界要下到約旦河，通到鹽海為止。這四圍的邊界以內，要作你們的地。」摩西吩咐以色列人說：「這地就是耶和華吩咐拈鬮給九個半支派承受為業的；

與北方山地、基尼烈南邊的亞拉巴高原，並西邊多珥山岡的諸王；

在以色列高處的山栽上。它就生枝子，結果子，成為佳美的香柏樹，各類飛鳥都必宿在其下，就是宿在枝子的蔭下。

「以色列山哪，你必發枝條，為我的民以色列結果子，因為他們快要來到。

拿弗他利全地，以法蓮、瑪拿西的地，猶大全地直到西海，南地和棕樹城耶利哥的平原，直到瑣珥，都指給他看。

「人子啊，你要對以色列山發預言說：以色列山哪，要聽耶和華的話。主耶和華如此說：因仇敵說：『阿哈！這永久的山岡都歸我們為業了！』所以要發預言說，主耶和華如此說：因為敵人使你荒涼，四圍吞吃，好叫你歸與其餘的外邦人為業，並且多嘴多舌的人提起你來，百姓也說你有臭名。

約旦河西，住山地、高原，並對着黎巴嫩山沿大海一帶的諸王，就是赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的諸王，聽見這事，

當那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說：「我已賜給你的後裔，從埃及河直到幼發拉底大河之地，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。」
