所以耶路撒冷王亞多尼‧洗德打發人去見希伯崙王何咸、耶末王毗蘭、拉吉王雅非亞，和伊磯倫王底璧，說：「求你們上來幫助我，我們好攻打基遍，因為他們與約書亞和以色列人立了和約。」

外邦為甚麼爭鬧？萬民為甚麼謀算虛妄的事？世上的君王一齊起來，臣宰一同商議，要敵擋耶和華並他的受膏者，說：我們要掙開他們的捆綁，脫去他們的繩索。那坐在天上的必發笑；主必嗤笑他們。

耶和華啊，你的手高舉，他們仍然不看；卻要看你為百姓發的熱心，因而抱愧，並且有火燒滅你的敵人。

只有西西拉步行逃跑，到了基尼人希百之妻雅億的帳棚，因為夏瑣王耶賓與基尼人希百家和好。

一個是瑪頓王，一個是夏瑣王，

不要害怕，因我與你同在；我必領你的後裔從東方來，又從西方招聚你。我要對北方說，交出來！對南方說，不要拘留！將我的眾子從遠方帶來，將我的眾女從地極領回，就是凡稱為我名下的人，是我為自己的榮耀創造的，是我所做成，所造作的。

你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你蹚過江河，水必不漫過你；你從火中行過，必不被燒，火焰也不着在你身上。

神啊，求你不要靜默！神啊，求你不要閉口，也不要不作聲！因為你的仇敵喧嚷，恨你的擡起頭來。他們同謀奸詐要害你的百姓，彼此商議要害你所隱藏的人。
