有一個伺候王名叫哈波拿的太監說：「看哪，哈曼還為那報告給王、救王有功的末底改做了一個五十肘高的木架，現今立在哈曼的家裏。」王說：「把哈曼掛在木架上。」於是哈曼被掛在他為末底改所預備的木架上；王的憤怒才平息了。
