He intended to use it to impale Mordecai, the man who saved the king from assassination.”“ Then impale Haman on it!” the king ordered.So they impaled Haman on the pole he had set up for Mordecai, and the king’s anger subsided.

The men of Gibeon executed them on the mountain before the Lord. So all seven of them died together at the beginning of the barley harvest.

And all the people yelled back,“ We will take responsibility for his death— we and our children!”
