把他們交在基遍人手裡。基遍人在山上、在耶和華面前把他們處死示眾；他們七人一起死了。他們被處死時正是收割季節之初，開始收大麥的時候。

全體民眾都回答說：「他的血歸在我們和我們兒女的身上！」

經過調查，發現這陰謀是真的；於是那兩個太監就被掛在木架上。這事在王面前被記在《編年史》上。
