基遍人在耶和华面前把他们七人吊死在山上，那时正好是收割大麦的时候。

众人都说：“流祂血的责任由我们和我们的子孙承担！”

查明确有此事后，便把二人吊死在木架上，并将这事当着王的面写入史书。
