When they had brought these kings to Joshua, he summoned all the men of Israel and said to the army commanders who had come with him,“ Come here and put your feet on the necks of these kings.” So they came forward and placed their feet on their necks.

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do[ this], saith the LORD of hosts.

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ[ be] with you. Amen.

Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that[ men] may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and[ that] their kings[ may be] brought.For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea,[ those] nations shall be utterly wasted.

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

Happy[ art] thou, O Israel: who[ is] like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who[ is] the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Ask of me, and I shall give[ thee] the heathen[ for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth[ for] thy possession.Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish[ from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed[ are] all they that put their trust in him.

And he said unto Jether his firstborn, Up,[ and] slay them. But the youth drew not his sword: for he feared, because he[ was] yet a youth.

He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness,[ where there is] no way.

For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low,[ even] to the ground; he bringeth it[ even] to the dust.The foot shall tread it down,[ even] the feet of the poor,[ and] the steps of the needy.

Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
