So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.

就是叫亞哈斯的日晷，向前進的日影往後退十度。」於是，前進的日影果然在日晷上往後退了十度。

因你的箭射出發光，你的槍閃出光耀，日月都在本宮停住。

且吩咐將這歌教導猶大人。這歌名叫「弓歌」，寫在雅煞珥書上。

牠們一來，地震天動，日月昏暗，星宿無光。

所以耶和華的戰記上說：「蘇法的哇哈伯與亞嫩河的谷，

「你要在米甸人身上報以色列人的仇，後來要歸到你列祖那裏。」

日月昏暗，星宿無光。

那時，月亮要蒙羞，日頭要慚愧；因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山，在耶路撒冷作王；在敬畏他的長老面前，必有榮耀。

日頭月亮，你們要讚美他！放光的星宿，你們都要讚美他！

那城內又不用日月光照；因有神的榮耀光照，又有羔羊為城的燈。

參孫求告耶和華說：「主耶和華啊，求你眷念我。神啊，求你賜我這一次的力量，使我在非利士人身上報那剜我雙眼的仇。」

它的量帶通遍天下，它的言語傳到地極。神在其間為太陽安設帳幕；

因為以色列中有軍長率領，百姓也甘心犧牲自己，你們應當頌讚耶和華！

稱謝那造成大光的，因他的慈愛永遠長存。他造日頭管白晝，因他的慈愛永遠長存。他造月亮星宿管黑夜，因他的慈愛永遠長存。

白晝屬你，黑夜也屬你；亮光和日頭是你所預備的。地的一切疆界是你所立的；夏天和冬天是你所定的。

在這日以前，這日以後，耶和華聽人的禱告，沒有像這日的，是因耶和華為以色列爭戰。

他們在以色列人面前逃跑，正在伯‧和崙下坡的時候，耶和華從天上降大冰雹在他們身上，直降到亞西加，打死他們。被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀殺死的還多。

抄錄這諭旨，頒行各省，宣告各族，使猶大人預備等候那日，在仇敵身上報仇。

日頭要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血，這都在耶和華大而可畏的日子未到以前。

「那些日子的災難一過去，日頭就變黑了，月亮也不放光，眾星要從天上墜落，天勢都要震動。

第四位天使把碗倒在日頭上，叫日頭能用火烤人。人被大熱所烤，就褻瀆那有權掌管這些災的神之名，並不悔改將榮耀歸給神。

這樣就可以作你們天父的兒子；因為他叫日頭照好人，也照歹人；降雨給義人，也給不義的人。

大聲喊着說：「聖潔真實的主啊，你不審判住在地上的人，給我們伸流血的冤，要等到幾時呢？」

神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了多時，豈不終久給他們伸冤嗎？

日頭要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血；這都在主大而明顯的日子未到以前。

揭開第六印的時候，我又看見地大震動，日頭變黑像毛布，滿月變紅像血，

第四位天使吹號，日頭的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一都被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一黑暗了，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。
