於是日停月止、待民向敵復仇、是事載於雅煞珥書、日停天中不速入、約一終日、

So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.

看哪！我要使亞哈斯日晷上那向前進的日影往後退十級。”於是那向前進的日影，果然在日晷上往後退了十級。

日月停在本位，你的箭發射如光；你的矛閃爍輝耀。

他又吩咐要把這首“弓歌”教導猶大人。（這首歌記錄在《雅煞珥書》上。）

在他們面前，大地震動，諸天搖撼，日月昏暗，星星無光。

因此，在耶和華的戰書上記著：“在蘇法的哇哈伯，和亞嫩河的河谷，

“你要在米甸人身上報以色列人的仇，然後要歸到你本族那裡去。”

日月昏暗，星星無光。

那時，月亮必蒙羞，日頭要慚愧，因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山，在耶路撒冷作王；並且在他子民的眾長老面前，大有榮耀。

太陽和月亮啊！你們要讚美他；光亮的星星啊！你們都要讚美他。

這城不需要日月照明，因為有神的榮耀照明，而羊羔就是城的燈。

參孫呼求耶和華，說：“主耶和華啊，求你記念我；神啊，求你加強我這一次的力量，只這一次罷了，使我盡一次在非利士人身上報那剜我雙眼的仇！”

它們的聲音（按照《馬索拉文本》，“聲音”作“準繩”；現參照《七十士譯本》等古譯本翻譯）傳遍全地，它們的言語傳到地極，神在它們中間為太陽安設帳幕。

“你們要稱頌耶和華，因為以色列中有勇士，因為有人民自願從軍。

要稱謝那造成大光的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他造太陽管白晝，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。他造月亮和星星管黑夜，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。

白晝是你的，黑夜也是你的，月亮和太陽，都是你設立的。地上的一切疆界都是你立定的，夏天和冬天都是你制定的。

在這日以前或這日以後，耶和華聽人的禱告，沒有像這日一樣的，因為耶和華為以色列作戰。

他們從以色列人面前逃跑，正在下伯．和崙斜坡的時候，耶和華從天上降大冰雹在他們身上，一直到亞西加，打死他們；被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀殺死的還多。

諭旨的抄本作為御令，頒發到各省，宣告各族，使猶大人準備那日，好在仇敵身上施行報復。

太陽將變為黑暗，月亮將變為血紅。在耶和華偉大可畏的日子臨到以前，這一切都要發生。

“那些日子的災難剛過去：太陽就變黑了，月亮也不發光，眾星從天墜落，天上的萬象震動。

第四位天使把碗倒在太陽上，太陽就得了能力，可以用火烤人。人被高熱燒烤，就褻瀆那有權柄掌管這些災難的神的名，並不悔改，把榮耀歸給他。

好叫你們成為你們天父的兒子；因為他使太陽照惡人，也照好人；降雨給義人，也給不義的人。

他們大聲喊叫，說：“聖潔真實的主啊！你不審判住在地上的人，給我們伸流血的冤，要到幾時呢？”

難道神不會為晝夜呼籲他的選民伸冤嗎？難道神會耽誤他們嗎？

太陽將變為黑暗，月亮將變為血紅，在主偉大顯赫的日子臨到以前，這一切都要發生。

羊羔揭開了第六個印的時候，我觀看，大地震就發生了。太陽變黑，像粗糙的黑毛布；整個月亮變紅，像血一樣；

第四位天使吹號，太陽的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一，就都受到擊打，以致日月星的三分之一都變黑了，白天的三分之一沒有光，夜晚也是這樣。
