你們要分定禁食的日子，宣告嚴肅會，招聚長老和國中的一切居民到耶和華－你們神的殿，向耶和華哀求。

約沙法便懼怕，定意尋求耶和華，在猶大全地宣告禁食。

我便禁食，披麻蒙灰，定意向主神祈禱懇求。

所以眾位可以放心，我信神他怎樣對我說，事情也要怎樣成就。

信就是所望之事的實底，是未見之事的確據。

無論大小都聽從他，說：「這人就是那稱為神的大能者。」
