Then the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

The Lord gave the fish a command. And it spit Jonah up onto dry land.

And the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.

Then the Lord ordered the fish to spit Jonah out onto the beach.

Then the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

So the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

And Jehovah spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

Then the LORD commanded the fish and it disgorged Jonah on dry land.

Then Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.

Then God said,“ Let there be light,” and there was light.

But He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, you of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm.The men were amazed and asked,“ What kind of man is this?— even the winds and the sea obey Him!”

Now the Lord had appointed a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the fish three days and three nights.

“ Lord,” the centurion replied,“ I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But only say the word, and my servant will be cured.For I too am a man under authority, having soldiers under my command. I say to this one,‘ Go!’ and he goes; and to another,‘ Come!’ and he comes; and to my slave,‘ Do this!’ and he does it.”

Why was no one there when I came? Why was there no one to answer when I called? Is My hand too short to redeem? Or do I have no power to deliver? Look, I dry up the sea by My rebuke; I turn the rivers into a wilderness; their fish rot because of lack of water and die of thirst.

Then God said,“ Let the earth produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” And it was so.

So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above the expanse. And it was so.

For He spoke, and it came into being; He commanded, and it came into existence.

He spoke, and locusts came— young locusts without number.

He spoke, and insects came— gnats throughout their country.

Then God said,“ Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will serve as signs for festivals and for days and years.

Then God said,“ Let the water under the sky be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.
