And he said unto them, I[ am] an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry[ land].

He answered,“ I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

He answered,“ I’m a Hebrew. I worship the Lord. He is the God of heaven. He made the sea and the dry land.”

And he said to them,“ I am a Hebrew, and I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

Jonah answered,“ I am a Hebrew, and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land.”

He answered them,“ I’m a Hebrew. I worship the LORD, the God of the heavens, who made the sea and the dry land.”

So he said to them,“ I am a Hebrew, and I fear the Lord God of heaven who made the sea and the dry land.”

So he said to them,“ I am a Hebrew; and I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

And he said unto them, I am a Hebrew; and I fear Jehovah, the God of heaven, who hath made the sea and the dry land.

He answered them,“ I’m a Hebrew. I worship Yahweh, the God of the heavens, who made the sea and the dry land.”

He said to them,“ I am a Hebrew! And I worship the LORD, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

He said to them,“ I am a Hebrew, and I fear Yahweh, the God of heaven, who has made the sea and the dry land.”

The sea[ is] his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry[ land].O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned[ certain] days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,

Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which[ is] in Judah.

Thou,[ even] thou,[ art] LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all[ things] that[ are] therein, the seas, and all that[ is] therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these[ were] confederate with Abram.

O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.

And[ so] it was at the beginning of their dwelling there,[ that] they feared not the LORD: therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which slew[ some] of them.

Happy[ is he] that[ hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope[ is] in the LORD his God:Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein[ is]: which keepeth truth for ever:

Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect[ peace], and at such a time.I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and[ of] his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.

For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.

That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise[ men] of Babylon.Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:

And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for[ thou] only[ art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel,[ of] the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.

For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people,[ but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
