Then the sailors said to each other,“ Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.

Here is what the sailors said to one another.“ Someone is to blame for getting us into all this trouble. Come. Let’s cast lots to find out who it is.” So they did. And Jonah was picked.

And they said to one another,“ Come, let us cast lots, that we may know on whose account this evil has come upon us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

Then the crew cast lots to see which of them had offended the gods and caused the terrible storm. When they did this, the lots identified Jonah as the culprit.

“ Come on!” the sailors said to each other.“ Let’s cast lots. Then we’ll know who is to blame for this trouble we’re in.” So they cast lots, and the lot singled out Jonah.

And each man said to his mate,“ Come, let’s cast lots so that we may find out on whose account this catastrophe has struck us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

And they said to one another,“ Come, let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this trouble has come upon us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

各人幫助鄰舍，對自己的兄弟說：「要堅強！」匠人鼓勵工匠，用錘子打平金屬的鼓勵用錘子打砧的，論到焊接的說：「焊得好！」他們又用釘子把偶像釘穩，使它不會搖動。

掃羅對耶和華以色列的神說：「求你指明正確的抽籤結果！」於是約拿單和掃羅被抽中，軍兵都脫罪了。掃羅說：「在我和我兒子約拿單之間抽籤吧。」結果約拿單被抽中了。

撒母耳讓以色列所有的支派都上前來，便雅憫支派被抽中；然後讓便雅憫支派按著家族上前來，瑪特利家族被抽中；最後基士的兒子掃羅被抽中。民眾就尋找他，卻找不到。

所抽的籤拋在懷中，一切決斷卻來自耶和華。

他們把耶穌釘上十字架以後，抽籤分了他的衣服，

所以時候沒有到，在主來臨之前，不要評斷任何事；主將照亮黑暗中隱祕的事，顯明人心裡的計劃。那時候，稱讚將從神那裡臨到各人。

神消滅了迦南地的七個民族後，把他們的土地賜給我們的先祖為繼業，

於是他們推舉了兩個人，就是那叫巴撒巴，又被稱為猶斯托的約瑟，還有馬提亞。他們就禱告說：「主啊，你洞察每個人的心。求你從這兩個人中，指明你所揀選的是哪一位，使他得到這服事和使徒的職份。猶大背棄了這職份，去了自己的地方。」接著，他們為這兩個人抽籤，抽到了馬提亞，他就與那十一個使徒同列。

他們彼此瓜分我的衣服，又為我的衣裳抽籤。

掃羅說：「所有軍兵的首領，你們都上這裡來，要查看今天這罪是怎麼發生的！我指著拯救以色列的耶和華的永生起誓：即使罪在我的兒子約拿單，他也必須死！」全體軍兵中沒有人回應他。

亞哈隨魯王十二年的一月，就是尼散月，有人在哈曼面前為每一個月的每一日抽普珥，就是抽籤，一直抽到十二月，就是亞達月。
