異族犯境、強而且眾、不可勝數、其齒若牡獅、

A nation has invaded my land, a mighty army without number; it has the teeth of a lion, the fangs of a lioness.

The locusts are like a mighty army that has marched into our land. There are so many of them they can’t even be counted. Their teeth are as sharp as a lion’s teeth. They are like the fangs of a female lion.

For a nation has come up against my land, powerful and beyond number; its teeth are lions’ teeth, and it has the fangs of a lioness.

A vast army of locusts has invaded my land, a terrible army too numerous to count. Its teeth are like lions’ teeth, its fangs like those of a lioness.

我差遣到你們中間的大軍隊，就是蝗蟲、蝻子、螞蚱、剪蟲，那些年間所吃的，我要補還給你們。

使肥沃之地變為荒蕪的鹽地，都因當地居民的邪惡。

那是黑暗、陰森的日子，是密雲、烏黑的日子，如同黎明籠罩山嶺。有一隊蝗蟲，又大又強，自古以來沒有像這樣的，以後直到萬代也必沒有。牠們前面有火吞噬，後面有火焰燒盡。牠們未到以前，地如伊甸園，過去以後，卻成了荒涼的曠野，沒有一樣能躲避牠們。牠們形狀如馬，奔跑如戰馬。響聲如戰車在山頂上跳動，如火焰吞噬碎稭，好像強大的軍隊擺陣備戰。在牠們面前，萬民傷慟，臉都變色。牠們如勇士奔跑，如戰士攀登城牆，各行於自己的道路，不亂隊伍；牠們並不彼此推擠，各行於自己的大道，衝過防禦，並不停止。牠們蹦上城，跳上牆，爬上房屋，從窗戶進來，如同盜賊。在牠們面前，地動天搖，日月昏暗，星宿無光。耶和華在他的軍旅前出聲，他的隊伍龐大，遵行他命令的強盛。耶和華的日子大而可畏，誰能當得起呢？

蝗蟲的形狀好像預備上陣的戰馬一樣，頭上戴的好像金冠冕，臉面好像男人的臉面，頭髮像女人的頭髮，牙齒像獅子的牙齒；牠們胸前有甲，好像鐵甲；又有翅膀的響聲，好像許多車馬奔跑上陣的聲音。牠們有尾巴像蠍子，長着毒刺，尾巴上的毒刺有能力傷害人五個月。

必沖入猶大，漲溢氾濫，直到頸項。他展開翅膀，遮蔽你的全地。以馬內利啊！」

刺草和荊棘要長在我百姓的田地上，長在歡樂城中一切快樂家園上。

有一類人，牙如劍，齒如刀，要吞滅地上的困苦人和世間的貧窮人。

螞蟻是無力之類，卻在夏天預備糧食。石貛並非強壯之類，卻在巖石中造房子。蝗蟲沒有君王，卻分隊而出。

他們必不得住耶和華的地；以法蓮卻要返回埃及，在亞述吃不潔淨的食物。
