我若说：我要忘记我的哀情，除去我的愁容，心中畅快；

我若说：‘我要忘记我的苦情，强颜欢笑’，

我若说：‘我要忘记我的苦情，强颜欢笑’，

即使我说要忘掉怨恨，抛开愁容，强颜欢笑，

我若说：‘我要忘记我的苦情，要除去愁容，面露喜乐。’

我若說：我要忘記我的哀情，除去我的愁容，心中暢快；

我若說：『我要忘記我的苦情，強顏歡笑』，

我若說：『我要忘記我的苦情，強顏歡笑』，

即使我說要忘掉怨恨，拋開愁容，強顏歡笑，

我若說：‘我要忘記我的苦情，要除去愁容，面露喜樂。’

我若說：我要忘掉我的哀怨，要撇棄愁容，顯着喜色；

我若自謂、必忘我怨、去憂色、為歡容、

如我自謂。必泯怨尤、改憂色而作歡容、

我若言、不若忘我所怨、變憂色而作歡容、

If I say,‘ I will forget my complaint, I will change my expression, and smile,’

Suppose I say,‘ I’ll forget about all my problems. I’ll change my frown into a smile.’

If I say,‘ I will forget my complaint, I will put off my sad face, and be of good cheer,’

If I decided to forget my complaints, to put away my sad face and be cheerful,

If I said,“ I will forget my complaint, change my expression, and smile,”

Though I say,‘ I will forget my complaint, I will put my face in order and be cheerful,’

If I say,‘ I will forget my complaint, I will put off my sad face and wear a smile,’

If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will put off my sad countenance, and be of good cheer;

If I said,“ I will forget my complaint, change my expression, and smile,”

If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort[ myself]:

If I say,‘ I will forget my complaint, I will put off my sad face, and cheer up;’

If I say,“ My bed will comfort me, my couch will ease my complaint,”

Then I said,“ There is no cure for my grief! I am sick at heart!

In my time of trouble I sought the Lord. I kept my hand raised in prayer throughout the night. I refused to be comforted.I said,“ I will remember God while I groan; I will think about him while my strength leaves me.”( Selah)

“ Therefore, I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
