If it is a matter of strength, indeed He is strong; And if of justice, who will appoint my day in court?

若論能力、彼則云我在此、若言訊鞫、彼則雲誰定期、

欲以力爭、彼力過我、欲以理諭、誰為折中。

若論力、其力至大、若論審鞫、孰能為我定期、至天主前自訴、

If it is a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it is a matter of justice, who can challenge him?

If it’s a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it’s a matter of being fair, who would dare to bring charges against him?

If it is a contest of strength, behold, he is mighty! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it’s a question of strength, he’s the strong one. If it’s a matter of justice, who dares to summon him to court?

If it is a matter of strength, look, he is the powerful one! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it is a matter of power, behold, He is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If we speak of strength, lo, he is mighty! And if of justice, Who, saith he, will summon me?

If it is a matter of strength, look, He is the Mighty One! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If[ I speak] of strength, lo,[ he is] strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time[ to plead]?

If it is a matter of strength, most certainly he is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, he will say,‘ Who will summon me?’

If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice,‘ Who,’ says he,‘ will summon me?’

God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

“ For He is not a man, as I am, That I may answer Him, And that we should go to court together.Nor is there any mediator between us, Who may lay his hand on us both.

If you can answer me, Set your words in order before me; Take your stand.Truly I am as your spokesman before God; I also have been formed out of clay.Surely no fear of me will terrify you, Nor will my hand be heavy on you.

Oh, that I had one to hear me! Here is my mark. Oh, that the Almighty would answer me, That my Prosecutor had written a book!

And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

But you are filled with the judgment due the wicked; Judgment and justice take hold of you.Because there is wrath, beware lest He take you away with one blow; For a large ransom would not help you avoid it.Will your riches, Or all the mighty forces, Keep you from distress?

God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?

Have you an arm like God? Or can you thunder with a voice like His?Then adorn yourself with majesty and splendor, And array yourself with glory and beauty.
