若论力量，他真有能力！若论审判，他说谁能将我传来呢？

若论力量，祂甚强大；若上公堂，谁敢传祂？

若论力量，他多么强大，若论诉讼，他说：‘谁能把我传来？’

若論能力、彼則云我在此、若言訊鞫、彼則雲誰定期、

欲以力爭、彼力過我、欲以理諭、誰為折中。

若論力、其力至大、若論審鞫、孰能為我定期、至天主前自訴、

If it is a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it is a matter of justice, who can challenge him?

If it’s a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it’s a matter of being fair, who would dare to bring charges against him?

If it is a contest of strength, behold, he is mighty! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it’s a question of strength, he’s the strong one. If it’s a matter of justice, who dares to summon him to court?

If it is a matter of strength, look, he is the powerful one! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it is a matter of power, behold, He is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If it is a matter of strength, indeed He is strong; And if of justice, who will appoint my day in court?

If we speak of strength, lo, he is mighty! And if of justice, Who, saith he, will summon me?

If it is a matter of strength, look, He is the Mighty One! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If[ I speak] of strength, lo,[ he is] strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time[ to plead]?

If it is a matter of strength, most certainly he is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, he will say,‘ Who will summon me?’

If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice,‘ Who,’ says he,‘ will summon me?’

His wisdom is profound, his power is vast. Who has resisted him and come out unscathed? (niv)

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. (niv)

“ He is not a mere mortal like me that I might answer him, that we might confront each other in court.If only there were someone to mediate between us, someone to bring us together, (niv)

Answer me then, if you can; stand up and argue your case before me.I am the same as you in God’s sight; I too am a piece of clay.No fear of me should alarm you, nor should my hand be heavy on you. (niv)

(“ Oh, that I had someone to hear me! I sign now my defense— let the Almighty answer me; let my accuser put his indictment in writing. (niv)

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’ (niv)

But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have taken hold of you.Be careful that no one entices you by riches; do not let a large bribe turn you aside.Would your wealth or even all your mighty efforts sustain you so you would not be in distress? (niv)

One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard:“ Power belongs to you, God, (niv)

Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he? (niv)

Do you have an arm like God’s, and can your voice thunder like his?Then adorn yourself with glory and splendor, and clothe yourself in honor and majesty. (niv)
