If he snatches away, who can stop him? Who can say to him,‘ What are you doing?’

Behold, he snatches away; who can turn him back? Who will say to him,‘ What are you doing?’

If he snatches someone in death, who can stop him? Who dares to ask,‘ What are you doing?’

If He were to snatch away, who could restrain Him? Who could say to Him,‘ What are You doing?’

If He takes away, who can hinder Him? Who can say to Him,‘ What are You doing?’

Behold, he seizeth the prey, who can hinder him? Who will say unto him, What doest thou?

“ Suppose God comes along and puts you in prison. Suppose he takes you to court. Then who can oppose him?

How terrible it will be for anyone who argues with their Maker! They are like a broken piece of pottery lying on the ground. Does clay say to a potter,“ What are you making?” Does a pot say,“ The potter doesn’t have any skill”?

“ But he’s the only God. Who can oppose him? He does anything he wants to do.

“ Who can ever know what the Lord is thinking? Or who can ever give him advice?”( Isaiah 40:13)

He considers all the nations on earth to be nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven. He does what he wants with the nations of the earth. No one can hold back his hand. No one can say to him,“ What have you done?”

But if he remains silent, who can judge him? If he turns his face away, who can see him? He rules over individual people and nations alike.

“ People of Israel, I can do with you just as this potter does,” announces the Lord.“ The clay is in the potter’s hand. And you are in my hand, people of Israel.

Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Do you feel cheated because I gave so freely to the others?’

Why do you claim that God never answers anybody’s questions?

Yes, Father. This is what you wanted to do.

So God does what he wants to do. He shows mercy to one person and makes another stubborn.One of you will say to me,“ Then why does God still blame us? Who can oppose what he wants to do?”But you are a mere human being. So who are you to talk back to God? Scripture says,“ Can what is made say to the one who made it,‘ Why did you make me like this?’ ”( Isaiah 29:16; 45:9)

We were also chosen to belong to him. God decided to choose us long ago in keeping with his plan. He works out everything to fit his plan and purpose.
