“ Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects. Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.

神所懲治的人是有福的！所以你不可輕看全能者的管教。

「看哪，上帝所懲治的人是有福的！所以你不可輕看全能者的管教。

「看哪，神所懲治的人是有福的！所以你不可輕看全能者的管教。

「被上帝責備的人有福了，不可輕視全能者的管教。

神所責備的人是有福的，所以你不要輕看全能者的管教。

『看哪，上帝所責打的、那人有福啊；故此全能者的懲罰、你不可輕看。

上帝所懲者有福、故全能者之譴責、爾勿輕視、

上帝所責者、必蒙福祉、全能之主譴爾躬、爾勿輕視。

天主所懲者、是人有福、全能者譴責爾、爾毋輕視、

“ Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

“ Blessed is the person God corrects. So don’t hate the Mighty One’s training.

“ Behold, blessed is the one whom God reproves; therefore despise not the discipline of the Almighty.

“ But consider the joy of those corrected by God! Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin.

See how happy is the person whom God corrects; so do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.

“ Behold, happy is the person whom God disciplines, So do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.

“ Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.

Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: Therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.

See how happy the man is God corrects; so do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.

Behold, happy[ is] the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

“ Therefore, blessed is the man whom God corrects, so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

Blessed is the man whom you discipline, Yah, and teach out of your law,

Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children,“ My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?For they indeed, for a few days, punished us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline, neither be weary of his correction;for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.

Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the perseverance of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

“ I have surely heard Ephraim grieving thus,‘ You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as an untrained calf. Turn me, and I will be turned; for you are Yahweh my God.
