匱乏者不失望、不義者無敢言。

So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.

So poor people have hope. And God shuts the mouths of those who don’t treat others fairly.

When the godly see this, they rejoice, and every sinner shuts his mouth.

But the king will rejoice in God; everyone who takes oaths in his name will boast, for the mouths of those who speak lies will be shut up.

He lifts the weak from the dust; he raises the poor from the ash heap to seat them with princes and to bestow on them an honored position. The foundations of the earth belong to the LORD, and he has placed the world on them.He watches over his holy ones, but the wicked are made speechless in the darkness, for it is not by one’s own strength that one prevails.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world may be held accountable to God.

How will they respond to the messengers of this nation? Indeed, the LORD has made Zion secure; the oppressed among his people will find safety in her.

Return to the stronghold, you prisoners, with hope; today I declare that I will return double what was taken from you.

for the needy are not permanently ignored, the hopes of the oppressed are not forever dashed.

But against any of the Israelites not even a dog will bark against either people or animals, so that you may know that the LORD distinguishes between Egypt and Israel.’
