Better is the end of a thing than its beginning. The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

His possessions also were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the children of the east.

Yahweh has blessed my master greatly. He has become great. Yahweh has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male servants and female servants, and camels and donkeys.

Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;

Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.

Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year one hundred times what he planted. Yahweh blessed him.The man grew great, and grew more and more until he became very great.He had possessions of flocks, possessions of herds, and a great household. The Philistines envied him.

Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the perseverance of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn’t know, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;

Our barns are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep produce thousands and ten thousands in our fields.Our oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets.Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is Yahweh.
