Who tells the rain where it should fall? Who makes paths for the thunderstorms?

“ Who created a channel for the torrents of rain? Who laid out the path for the lightning?

Who cuts a channel for the flooding rain or clears the way for lightning,

“ Who has split open a channel for the flood, And a way for the thunderbolt,

“ Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water, Or a path for the thunderbolt,

Who hath cleft a channel for the waterflood, Or the way for the lightning of the thunder;

Who cuts a channel for the flooding rain or clears the way for lightning,

Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

Who carves out a channel for the heavy rains, and a path for the rumble of thunder,

Who has cut a channel for the flood water, or the path for the thunder storm,

when he made a decree for the rain and a path for the thunderstorm,

The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.He makes Lebanon leap like a calf, Sirion like a young wild ox.The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lightning.The voice of the Lord shakes the desert; the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.The voice of the Lord twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in his temple all cry,“ Glory!”The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever.

“ He draws up the drops of water, which distill as rain to the streams;the clouds pour down their moisture and abundant showers fall on mankind.

He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth.After that comes the sound of his roar; he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds, he holds nothing back.God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.He says to the snow,‘ Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower,‘ Be a mighty downpour.’
