“ What is the way to the dwelling of light? As for darkness, where is its place,

“哪条路通往光明的居所？哪里是黑暗的住处？

哪条是到光明居所的道路？黑暗的本位在哪里？

光明的居所從何而至？黑暗的本位在於何處？

「往光明居所的路在哪裏？黑暗的地方在何處？

「往光明居所的路在哪裏？黑暗的地方在何處？

「哪條路通往光明的居所？哪裡是黑暗的住處？

哪條是到光明居所的道路？黑暗的本位在哪裡？

『亮光之住處、其路在哪裏？黑暗呢、其地方在哪裏？

光之居所、何由而至、暗之處所安在、

光在何方、暗在何所、爾豈識其途、能導人造其境乎。

光明之所居、由何路可至、晦冥之宅、又在何處、

“ What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside?

“ Where does light come from? And where does darkness live?

“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light, and where is the place of darkness,

“ Where does light come from, and where does darkness go?

Where is the road to the home of light? Do you know where darkness lives,

“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,

“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,

Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

Where is the road to the home of light? Do you know where darkness lives,

Where[ is] the way[ where] light dwelleth? and[ as for] darkness, where[ is] the place thereof,

“ In what direction does light reside, and darkness, where is its place,

The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.

I will make all the bright lights of the sky dark over you, and set darkness on your land,” says the Lord Yahweh.

Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying,“ I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”

“ Have you commanded the morning in your days, and caused the dawn to know its place,that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and shake the wicked out of it?

and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the army of the sky, you are drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Yahweh your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky.

He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.

You make darkness, and it is night, in which all the animals of the forest prowl.

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

God said,“ Let there be light,” and there was light.God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.

God said,“ Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years;and let them be for lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth;” and it was so.God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He also made the stars.God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light to the earth,and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. God saw that it was good.

He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion around him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create calamity. I am Yahweh, who does all these things.

For, behold, he who forms the mountains, and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought; who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth: Yahweh, the God of Armies, is his name.”

Give glory to Yahweh your God, before he causes darkness, and before your feet stumble on the dark mountains, and, while you look for light, he turns it into the shadow of death, and makes it deep darkness.
