For he saith to the snow, Fall thou on the earth; Likewise to the shower of rain, And to the showers of his mighty rain.

祂命雪降在大地，令雨倾盆倒下，

祂命雪降在大地，令雨傾盆倒下，

他吩咐雪說：「要下在地上！」也吩咐大雨暴雨：「要使勁地下！」

命雪雨於地、降細雨與大雨、

上帝降雪霏微、下雨滂沱、

命雪降於地、以大能下雨滂沱、

He says to the snow,‘ Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower,‘ Be a mighty downpour.’

He says to the snow,‘ Fall on the earth.’ He tells the rain,‘ Pour down your mighty waters.’

For to the snow he says,‘ Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the downpour, his mighty downpour.

“ He directs the snow to fall on the earth and tells the rain to pour down.

For he says to the snow,“ Fall to the earth,” and the torrential rains, his mighty torrential rains,

For to the snow He says,‘ Fall on the earth,’ And to the downpour and the rain,‘ Be strong.’

For He says to the snow,‘ Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength.

For He says to the snow,“ Fall to the earth,” and the torrential rains, His mighty torrential rains,

For he saith to the snow, Be thou[ on] the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

For to the snow he says,‘ Fall to earth,’ and to the torrential rains,‘ Pour down.’

For he says to the snow,‘ Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain.

For he draweth up the drops of water, Which distil in rain from his vapor,

Hast thou entered the treasuries of the snow, Or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

He giveth snow like wool; He scattereth the hoar- frost like ashes.He casteth forth his ice like morsels: Who can stand before his cold?He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: He causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

And it came to pass after the seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.

A needy man that oppresseth the poor Is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.

Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.And every one that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.

it is he that buildeth his chambers in the heavens, and hath founded his vault upon the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth; Jehovah is his name.

But the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to stand without: neither is this a work of one day or two; for we have greatly transgressed in this matter.

say unto them that daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within the three days( it was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month); and all the people sat in the broad place before the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain.
