After that comes the sound of his roar; he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds, he holds nothing back.

Next comes the sound of his roaring thunder. He thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice fills the air, he doesn’t hold anything back.

After it his voice roars; he thunders with his majestic voice, and he does not restrain the lightnings when his voice is heard.

Then comes the roaring of the thunder— the tremendous voice of his majesty. He does not restrain it when he speaks.

耶和华的声音在众水之上，荣耀的神打雷，耶和华打雷在大水之上。耶和华的声音大有能力，耶和华的声音充满威严。耶和华的声音震断了香柏树，耶和华震断了黎巴嫩的香柏树。他使黎巴嫩山跳跃像牛犊，使西连山跳跃像野牛犊。耶和华的声音带着火焰劈下。耶和华的声音震撼旷野，耶和华震撼加低斯的旷野。耶和华的声音惊动母鹿生产，使林中的树木光秃凋零；凡是在他殿中的都说：“荣耀啊！”

你以莫大的威荣，毁灭了那些起来攻击你的人；你发出烈怒，把他们烧灭像烧禾秸一样。你鼻孔中的气一发，海水就堆聚起来；水流直立像堤坝，深渊凝结于海心。

他吸收滴滴水点，使水滴在云雾中化成雨，云层倾下雨水，沛然降在世人身上。谁能明白云彩的展开，和神行宫的雷声呢？他在自己的周围展开电光，又用水遮盖海底；他用这些审断万人，又赐予丰盛的粮食；他以电光遮盖双手，然后吩咐电光去攻击目标，他以雷声宣扬自己，甚至牲畜也注意将有什么临近。”
