Indeed, God is mighty; and he does not despise people, he is mighty, and firm in his intent.

The LORD is the one who by his power made the earth. He is the one who by his wisdom established the world. And by his understanding he spread out the skies.

Though the LORD is exalted, he takes note of the lowly, and recognizes the proud from far away.

As for the Almighty, we cannot attain to him! He is great in power, but justice and abundant righteousness he does not oppress.

Our Lord is great and has awesome power; there is no limit to his wisdom.

You plan great things and you do mighty deeds. You see everything people do. You reward each of them for the way they live and for the things they do.

By his power he stills the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab the great sea monster to pieces.By his breath the skies became fair; his hand pierced the fleeing serpent.Indeed, these are but the outer fringes of his ways! How faint is the whisper we hear of him! But who can understand the thunder of his power?”

But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.Think about the circumstances of your call, brothers and sisters. Not many were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were born to a privileged position.But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong.God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something,

“ How much less, then, can I answer him and choose my words to argue with him!

Is it good for you to oppress, to despise the work of your hands, while you smile on the schemes of the wicked?

The king is strong; he loves justice. You ensure that legal decisions will be made fairly; you promote justice and equity in Jacob.

If it is a matter of strength, most certainly he is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, he will say,‘ Who will summon me?’
