For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.

This is the way he governs the nations and provides food in abundance.

The rain he sends makes things grow for the nations. He provides them with plenty of food.

For by these he judges peoples; he gives food in abundance.

By these mighty acts he nourishes the people, giving them food in abundance.

For he judges the nations with these; he gives food in abundance.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;And wine[ that] maketh glad the heart of man,[ and] oil to make[ his] face to shine, and bread[ which] strengtheneth man’s heart.

These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give[ them] their meat in due season.[ That] thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee,[ and] to prove thee, to know what[ was] in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that[ was] in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness,[ wherein were] fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where[ there was] no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God,[ which] is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.They drop[ upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel,[ and] were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died:[ they were] more which died with hailstones than[ they] whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

To cause it to rain on the earth,[ where] no man[ is; on] the wilderness, wherein[ there is] no man;To satisfy the desolate and waste[ ground]; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that[ were] under the whole heaven, were covered.Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:All in whose nostrils[ was] the breath of life, of all that[ was] in the dry[ land], died.And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained[ alive], and they that[ were] with him in the ark.And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel.

And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein[ is] the breath of life, from under heaven;[ and] every thing that[ is] in the earth shall die.
