I get my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe justice to my Maker.

I get my knowledge from far away. I’ll announce that the God who made me is fair.

I will present profound arguments for the righteousness of my Creator.

But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.

They sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:“ Great and astounding are your deeds, Lord God, the All- Powerful! Just and true are your ways, King over the nations!

Certainly the LORD is just; he rewards godly deeds; the upright will experience his favor.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.

As for the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. He is a reliable God who is never unjust, he is fair and upright.

The LORD is just in all his actions, and exhibits love in all he does.

All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change.

Then Elihu son of Barakel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, became very angry. He was angry with Job for justifying himself rather than God.

if you seek it like silver, and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand how to fear the LORD, and you will discover knowledge about God.

The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon– and now, something greater than Solomon is here!

But it is a spirit in people, the breath of the Almighty, that makes them understand.

Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert what is right?

What shall we say then? Is there injustice with God? Absolutely not!

“ But wisdom– where does it come from? Where is the place of understanding?For it has been hidden from the eyes of every living creature, and from the birds of the sky it has been concealed.Destruction and Death say,‘ With our ears we have heard a rumor about where it can be found.’God understands the way to it, and he alone knows its place.For he looks to the ends of the earth and observes everything under the heavens.

For Job says,‘ I am innocent, but God turns away my right.

So he got up and went. There he met an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasury. He had come to Jerusalem to worship,and was returning home, sitting in his chariot, reading the prophet Isaiah.Then the Spirit said to Philip,“ Go over and join this chariot.”So Philip ran up to it and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. He asked him,“ Do you understand what you’re reading?”The man replied,“ How in the world can I, unless someone guides me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.Now the passage of scripture the man was reading was this:“ He was led like a sheep to slaughter, and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth.In humiliation justice was taken from him. Who can describe his posterity? For his life was taken away from the earth.”Then the eunuch said to Philip,“ Please tell me, who is the prophet saying this about– himself or someone else?”So Philip started speaking, and beginning with this scripture proclaimed the good news about Jesus to him.Now as they were going along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said,“ Look, there is water! What is to stop me from being baptized?”

But the righteousness that is by faith says:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down)or“ Who will descend into the abyss?”( that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).But what does it say?“ The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”( that is, the word of faith that we preach),

“ But wisdom– where can it be found? Where is the place of understanding?Mankind does not know its place; it cannot be found in the land of the living.

LORD, you have always been fair whenever I have complained to you. However, I would like to speak with you about the disposition of justice. Why are wicked people successful? Why do all dishonest people have such easy lives?

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, in the time of King Herod, wise men from the East came to Jerusalemsaying,“ Where is the one who is born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

As for the Almighty, we cannot attain to him! He is great in power, but justice and abundant righteousness he does not oppress.

“ You are righteous, O Lord, but we are humiliated this day– the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far away in all the countries in which you have scattered them, because they have behaved unfaithfully toward you.

The LORD was mindful of the calamity, and he brought it on us. For the LORD our God is just in all he has done, and we have not obeyed him.

God publicly displayed him at his death as the mercy seat accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate his righteousness, because God in his forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed.This was also to demonstrate his righteousness in the present time, so that he would be just and the justifier of the one who lives because of Jesus’ faithfulness.

“ Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do wickedness, from the Almighty to do evil.For he repays a person for his work, and according to the conduct of a person, he causes the consequences to find him.Indeed, in truth, God does not act wickedly, and the Almighty does not pervert justice.
