Then that person can pray to God and be blessed by him. They will see God’s face and shout for joy. God will make them well and happy again.

then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God’s face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well- being.

then man prays to God, and he accepts him; he sees his face with a shout of joy, and he restores to man his righteousness.

When he prays to God, he will be accepted. And God will receive him with joy and restore him to good standing.

He will pray to God, and God will delight in him. That person will see his face with a shout of joy, and God will restore his righteousness to him.

Then he will pray to God, and He will accept him, So that he may see His face with joy, And He will restore His righteousness to that person.

People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you won’t weep anymore. When you cry out to the Lord for help, he will have mercy on you. As soon as he hears you, he’ll answer you.

His anger lasts for only a moment. But his favor lasts for a person’s whole life. Weeping can stay for the night. But joy comes in the morning.

I love the Lord, because he heard my voice. He heard my cry for his help.Because he paid attention to me, I will call out to him as long as I live.The ropes of death were wrapped around me. The horrors of the grave came over me. I was overcome by sadness and sorrow.Then I called out to the Lord. I cried out,“ Lord, save me!”The Lord is holy and kind. Our God is full of tender love.The Lord takes care of those who are not aware of danger. When I was in great need, he saved me.

You always show me the path of life. You will fill me with joy when I am with you. You will make me happy forever at your right hand.

Call out to me. I will answer you. I will tell you great things you do not know. And unless I do, you wouldn’t be able to find out about them.”

So now get seven bulls and seven rams. Go to my servant Job. Then sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you. And I will accept his prayer. I will not punish you for saying the foolish things you said. You have not said what is true about me, as my servant Job has.”So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite did what the Lord told them to do. And the Lord accepted Job’s prayer.

The Lord has been good to me because I do what is right. He has rewarded me because I lead a pure life.

Lord, when you gave me your help, you made Mount Zion stand firm. But when you took away your help, I was terrified.Lord, I called out to you. I cried to you for mercy.I said,“ What good will come if I become silent in death? What good will come if I go down into the grave? Can the dust of my dead body praise you? Can it tell how faithful you are?Lord, hear me. Have mercy on me. Lord, help me.”You turned my loud crying into dancing. You removed my clothes of sadness and dressed me with joy.

Lord, don’t correct me when you are angry. Don’t punish me when you are very angry.Lord, have mercy on me. I’m so weak. Lord, heal me. My body is full of pain.My soul is very troubled. Lord, how long will it be until you save me?Lord, turn to me and help me. Save me. Your love never fails.Dead people can’t call out your name. How can they praise you when they are in the grave?My groaning has worn me out. All night long my tears flood my bed. My bed is wet because of my crying.I’m so sad I can’t see very well. My eyesight gets worse because of all my enemies.Get away from me, all you who do evil. The Lord has heard my weeping.The Lord has heard my cry for his mercy. The Lord accepts my prayer.

Everything about Manasseh is written in the records of the prophets. That includes his prayer and the fact that God felt sorry for him. It includes everything he did before he made himself humble in the Lord’ s sight. It includes all his sins and the fact that he wasn’t faithful to the Lord. It includes the locations where he built high places. It includes the places where he set up poles used to worship the female god named Asherah. And it includes the places where he set up statues of other gods.

Suppose someone welcomes a prophet as a prophet. They will receive a prophet’s reward. And suppose someone welcomes a godly person as a godly person. They will receive a godly person’s reward.Suppose someone gives even a cup of cold water to a little one who follows me. What I’m about to tell you is true. That person will certainly be rewarded.”

He pays back everyone for what they’ve done. He gives them exactly what they should get.

The Lord rewards everyone for doing what is right and being faithful. He handed you over to me today. But I wouldn’t harm you. You are the Lord’ s anointed king.

The Lord told him,“ Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street. Ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying.

Give praise to the Lord. He has heard my cry for his favor.

Don’t say,“ But we didn’t know anything about this.” Doesn’t the God who knows what you are thinking see it? Doesn’t the God who guards your life know it? He will pay back everyone for what they have done.

Lord, many are asking,“ Who will make us successful?” Lord, may you do good things for us.Fill my heart with joy when the people have lots of grain and fresh wine.

They caused poor people to cry out to him. He heard the cries of those who were in need.

He said,“ When I was in trouble, I called out to the Lord. And he answered me. When I was deep in the place of the dead, I called out for help. And you listened to my cry.You threw me deep into the Mediterranean Sea. I was deep down in its waters. They were all around me. All your rolling waves were sweeping over me.I said,‘ I have been driven away from you. But I will look again toward your holy temple in Jerusalem.’I had almost drowned in the waves. The deep waters were all around me. Seaweed was wrapped around my head.I sank down to the bottom of the mountains. I thought I had died and gone down into the grave forever. But you are the Lord my God. You brought my life up from the very edge of the pit of death.“ When my life was nearly over, I remembered you, Lord. My prayer rose up to you. It reached you in your holy temple in heaven.

He suffered shame because of Christ. He thought it had great value. Moses considered it better than the riches of Egypt. He was looking ahead to his reward.

May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.May the Lord look on you with favor and give you peace.” ’

You will find delight in the Mighty One. You will honor God and trust in him.You will pray to him, and he will hear you. You will keep the promises you made to him.

You always show me the path that leads to life. You will fill me with joy when I am with you.’( Psalm 16:8–11)

The other is that your love, Lord, never ends. You will reward everyone in keeping with what they have done.

He will call out to me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in times of trouble. I will save him and honor him.

Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall. He prayed to the Lord. He said,“ Lord, please remember how faithful I’ve been to you. I’ve lived the way you wanted me to. I’ve served you with all my heart. I’ve done what is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.Isaiah was leaving the middle courtyard. Before he had left it, a message came to him from the Lord. He said,“ Go back and speak to Hezekiah. He is the ruler of my people. Tell him,‘ The Lord, the God of King David, says,“ I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. And I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to my temple.

God, have mercy on us and bless us. May you be pleased with us.

Give praise to the God who is able to keep you from falling into sin. He will bring you into his heavenly glory without any fault. He will bring you there with great joy.

They say,“ He is sick and will die very soon. He will never get up from his bed again.”Even my close friend, someone I trusted, has failed me. I even shared my bread with him.But Lord, may you have mercy on me. Make me well, so I can pay them back.Then I will know that you are pleased with me, because my enemies haven’t won the battle over me.

Lord, my Rock, I call out to you. Pay attention to me. If you remain silent, I will die. I will be like those who go down into the grave.Hear my cry for your favor when I call out to you for help. Hear me when I lift up my hands in prayer toward your Most Holy Room.

When Manasseh was in trouble, he asked the Lord his God to help him. He made himself very humble in the sight of the God of his people.Manasseh prayed to him. When he did, the Lord felt sorry for him. He answered his prayer. The Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.
