He speaks in one way and then another. But we do not even realize it.

神说一次、两次，世人却不理会。

其實上帝用一種方法、乃至於兩種方法、說話，人卻不留意呢。

上帝言之、而人弗顧、又復言之、

上帝言一而再、人弗從也、

天主一再言之、而人不明、

For God does speak— now one way, now another— though no one perceives it.

For God speaks in one way, and in two, though man does not perceive it.

For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it.

For God speaks time and again, but a person may not notice it.

Indeed God speaks once, Or twice, yet no one notices it.

For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it.

For God speaketh once, Yea twice, though man regardeth it not.

“ For God speaks, the first time in one way, the second time in another, though a person does not perceive it.

But you refuse to listen when I call out to you. No one pays attention when I reach out my hand.

The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people. But they didn’t pay any attention to him.

God, I have heard you say two things. One is that power belongs to you, God.

Jesus said to them,“ How foolish you are! How long it takes you to believe all that the prophets said!

You hated knowledge. You didn’t choose to have respect for the Lord.

Here is the judgment. Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light. They loved darkness because what they did was evil.

I spoke once. But I really don’t have any answer. I spoke twice. But I won’t say anything else.”

“ God does all these things to people. In fact, he does them again and again.

Jesus knew what they were saying. So he asked them,“ Why are you talking about having no bread? Why can’t you see or understand? Are you stubborn?Do you have eyes and still don’t see? Do you have ears and still don’t hear? And don’t you remember?

So he said,“ Go and speak to these people. Tell them,“‘ You will hear but never understand. You will see but never know what you are seeing.’

In them the words of the prophet Isaiah come true. He said,“‘ You will hear but never understand. You will see but never know what you are seeing.
