你的罪惡豈不是大嗎？你的罪孽不是沒有窮盡嗎？因你無故強取弟兄的抵押，剝去赤身者的衣服。疲乏的人，你沒有給他水喝；飢餓的人，你沒有給他食物。有能力的人得土地；尊貴的人住在其中。你打發寡婦空手回去，你折斷孤兒的膀臂。因此，有羅網環繞你，有恐懼忽然使你驚惶；或有黑暗使你看不見，有洪水淹沒你。「上帝豈不是在高天嗎？你看星宿的頂點何其高呢！你說：『上帝知道甚麼？他豈能透過幽暗施行審判呢？密雲將他遮蓋，使他不能看見；他周遊穹蒼。』你要依從上古的道嗎？這道是惡人行過的。他們未到時候就被抓去；他們的根基被江河沖去。他們向上帝說：『離開我們吧！』全能者能把他們怎麼樣呢？然而，是上帝以美物充滿他們的房屋；惡人的計謀離我好遠！義人看見他們的結局就歡喜；無辜的人嗤笑他們：『攻擊我們的果然被剪除，剩餘的都被火吞滅。』「你要與上帝和好，要和平，這樣，福氣必臨到你。你當領受他口中的教導，將他的言語存在心裏。你若歸向全能者，就必得建立。你要從你帳棚中遠離不義，你要將黃金丟到塵土裏，將俄斐的金子丟在溪河石頭之間；全能者就必作你的黃金，作你成堆的銀子。那時，你要以全能者為喜樂，向上帝仰臉。你要向他禱告，他就聽你；你也要還你的願。你定意要做何事，必然為你成就；亮光也必照耀你的路。當人降卑，你說：是因驕傲；眼目謙卑的人，上帝必然拯救。不是無辜的人，上帝尚且要搭救他；他必因你手中的清潔得蒙拯救。」

於是這三個人因約伯看自己為義就停止，不再回答他。

我們看這個人如同瘟疫一般，是鼓動普天下所有的猶太人作亂的人，又是拿撒勒教派裏的一個頭目。

因不敬虔之輩必不能生育，受賄賂之人的帳棚必被火吞滅。

「上帝有統治之權，威嚴可畏；他在高處施行和平。他的軍隊豈能數算？他的光向誰不會升起呢？這樣，在上帝面前人怎能稱義？婦人所生的怎能潔淨？看哪，在上帝眼前，月亮無光，星宿也不皎潔，更何況是如蟲的人，如蛆的世人呢！

若不是這樣，誰能指證我是說謊的，以我的言語為毫無根據呢？」

也不能對你證實他們現在所控告我的事。

「無能的人蒙你何等的幫助！膀臂無力的人蒙你何等的拯救！無智慧的人蒙你何等的指教！你向他顯出豐富的知識。你向誰發出言語？誰的靈從你而出？
