“我若见恨我的遭报就欢喜，见他遭灾便高兴；

“我若见恨我的遇难就欢喜，见他遭灾就高兴；

“我若见恨我的遇难就欢喜，见他遭灾就高兴；

“我何曾因敌人遭殃而欢喜，因他们遇祸而快乐？

我若因恨我的人遭灾祸而欢喜，或因他遇患难而高兴；

我若見恨我的遭報就歡喜，見他遭災便高興；（

「我若見恨我的遇難就歡喜，見他遭災就高興；

「我若見恨我的遇難就歡喜，見他遭災就高興；

「我何曾因敵人遭殃而歡喜，因他們遇禍而快樂？

我若因恨我的人遭災禍而歡喜，或因他遇患難而高興；

『我若因恨我之人的敗亡而歡喜，因他的遭禍而高興；（

我若因憾我者被滅而欣喜、緣其遭禍而氣揚、

仇有禍、未嘗欣喜踴躍。

何曾因敵遇災而喜、何曾因其遭禍而踴躍、

“ If I have rejoiced at my enemy’s misfortune or gloated over the trouble that came to him—

“ I wasn’t happy when hard times came to my enemies. I didn’t enjoy seeing the trouble they had.

“ If I have rejoiced at the ruin of him who hated me, or exulted when evil overtook him

“ Have I ever rejoiced when disaster struck my enemies, or become excited when harm came their way?

Have I rejoiced over my enemy’s distress, or become excited when trouble came his way?

“ Have I rejoiced at the misfortune of my enemy, Or become excited when evil found him?

“ If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him who hated me, Or lifted myself up when evil found him

If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, Or lifted up myself when evil found him

Have I rejoiced over my enemy’s distress, or become excited when trouble came his way?

If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:

If I have rejoiced over the misfortune of my enemy or exulted because calamity found him–

“ If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him who hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him

你仇敌跌倒，你不要欢喜；他倾倒，你心不要快乐；恐怕耶和华看见就不喜悦，将怒气从仇敌身上转过来。 (cunps)

戏笑穷人的，是辱没造他的主；幸灾乐祸的，必不免受罚。 (cunps)

不容他们心里说：“阿哈，遂我们的心愿了”，不容他们说：“我们已经把他吞了！”愿那喜欢我遭难的一同抱愧蒙羞！愿那向我妄自尊大的披惭愧，蒙羞辱！ (cunps)

至于我，当他们有病的时候，我便穿麻衣，禁食，刻苦己心；我所求的都归到自己的怀中。我这样行，好像他是我的朋友，我的弟兄；我屈身悲哀，如同人为母亲哀痛。 (cunps)

而且悲哀哭号，禁食到晚上，是因扫罗和他儿子约拿单，并耶和华的民以色列家的人，倒在刀下。 (cunps)

从前有人报告我说，扫罗死了，他自以为报好消息；我就拿住他，将他杀在洗革拉，这就作了他报消息的赏赐。何况恶人将义人杀在他的床上，我岂不向你们讨流他血的罪、从世上除灭你们呢？” (cunps)

你兄弟遭难的日子，你不当瞪眼看着；犹大人被灭的日子，你不当因此欢乐；他们遭难的日子，你不当说狂傲的话。 (cunps)

大卫王到了巴户琳，见有一个人出来，是扫罗族基拉的儿子，名叫示每。他一面走一面咒骂，又拿石头砍大卫王和王的臣仆；众民和勇士都在王的左右。示每咒骂说：“你这流人血的坏人哪，去吧去吧！你流扫罗全家的血，接续他作王；耶和华把这罪归在你身上，将这国交给你儿子押沙龙。现在你自取其祸，因为你是流人血的人。” (cunps)
