In his great power God becomes like clothing to me; he binds me like the neck of my garment.

God’s great power becomes like clothes to me. He chokes me like the neck of my shirt.

My wounds are infected and starting to smell, because of my foolish sins.

My bones stick to my skin and my flesh; I have escaped alive with only the skin of my teeth.

My body is clothed with worms and dirty scabs; my skin is broken and festering.
